It keeps my magnesium levels up

Pills are INSANELY too big. What the what?!? Please make an option for smaller, as this product is so great otherwise. I’m terrified to take them every day in case it gets stuck in my throat. As you see from photo, nearly an inch. My husband will not take them. If you cut them in half, jagged little pill going down as well which feels even worse. Sleep is amazing though.

These do a great job but the pills are very large! These were recommended by our doctor!

My naturopathic doctor recommended a couple of types of magnesium for me a few years ago, which I tried, and they worked okay. However, I found this product at Natural Grocers on my own and I will NEVER use another magnesium product again. This has become the gold standard for me personally. How do I know this product is superior? Because when I ran out of it, I went back to the remaining bottles of other products my doc had recommended and I felt like absolute garbage for days. I felt like I had gout, everything ached constantly and I felt like I was 100 years old. I was only in my late 30s at this time (40 now), and yes I do have autoimmune issues/chronic illness that are treated/monitored. However, as soon as I switched back to this product? All of the horrible aches and pains were gone literally in less than 48 hours. So, I take this every night before bed workout fail, and I pray to whatever deity might be listening that they never change the formula or go out of business.

I've been taking various types of magnesium for my migraines for a few years now with minimal results. With other types of magnesium, I've reduced the frequency of my migraines from about 3 migraines most weeks to 1-2 migraines most weeks. The online research that I conducted had conflicting views as to which type of magnesium is most effective in helping with migraines, so I purchased Ultra-Mag because it is a blend of different types of magnesium (magnesium citrate, taurinate, malate, gycinate, and succinate according to the bottle) with addition B-6. Within a few weeks, I was only having about 3 migraines a month. My husband usually gets out the vitamins in the morning, and when our schedules changed and he began going in to work earlier, I was left to get my own vitamins, which I usually forgot. After about 5 days without the Ultra-Mag, I had one of the worst migraines I've had in years. Once I started up again, my migraines have again been reduced. I should also mention that I have found that I have the most benefit from the Ultra-Mag when I take it in conjunction with a calcium supplement. I take my calcium supplement every other day, as I read (and personally found) that too much calcium will cancel out the beneficial effects a magnesium supplement. I'm no medical personnel - I only relate this as my own personal experience. I urge others to do their research and talk with their doctor about which supplements may be beneficial. Everyone who suffers from migraines is different, so this may not work for everyone. But as a chronic migraine sufferer for the last 30 years, I can personally say that this has been the most effective natural form of migraine prevention that I have ever used.

Great money for the amount of pills you get included. I purchase these every 6 months or so and never switch brands.

This product is great but at the second time that I bought it, some tablets have been broken and it is difficult to sallow them.
