Great for small kids learning their animals
My 17 month old loves this book. The pictures are great, it shows a variety of animals loosely classified, and the images are mostly photographs or realistic drawings (no cartoon animals, which I prefer). My son happily points to different animals and we try to make various sounds associated with them. It's a great way for him to learn and have fun. Love it!

Excelente libro para aprendizaje
Compré este librito para mi bebé con la idea de que vaya aprendiendo y me ha parecido una excelente compra. Es súper didáctico porque no solo le ayuda a ir conociendo e identificando a los diferentes animales y aves, sino que también sirve muchísimo para enseñarle los colores gracias a sus ilustraciones. Las imágenes son muy llamativas y claras, lo que capta por completo la atención de los más pequeños. Es un recurso perfecto para el aprendizaje temprano en casa y pasar un rato entretenido aprendiendo juntos. ¡Totalmente recomendado para bebés y niños pequeños!

Good quality but the book is too small
The only reason I did not give the five stars is because the book is small. It does give the size but its so hard to find sturdy books with good realistic animal pictures. My 3 year old son enjoys the book but the pictures are small because the book is small. I can even tell he was disappointed in the size. We read the animals once and he is done with it and looks for his other bigger animal book that he already knows the animals. He loves going over and over and over books to learn about animal names. This is a good quality book but honestly, its too small. Almost the size of a passport. I kept the book because my son is into animals and its hard to find a hard book with good quality pictures.

Appropriate for a one year old
One year old loves the pictures. As she get older we will do sounds, colors and names together but for now their is plenty for her to look at.
