What are sizes when says large?

There are two size choices. Click on the color you’re interested in, scroll down slightly to about item and you’ll see they fit either sizes men’s 5 - 8.5 or men’s sizes 9 - 12. It’s all based on the color selection. I had to read the info on each color to find the size range. I hope I’ve made it easier for you.

Are there 2 pair or just one pair?

Are these for wide calf?

Our thermal socks are made of 80% Merino Wool, which are soft and elasticity. And socks can cover max 8 in/40 cm width calf.

Are they machine washable?

I do not know. I do know wool shrinks in hot water. I hand wash my socks in cool/warm water with Woolite brand cleaner. Then I squish the water out and lay them flat on a screen to dry. In the shade, not the sun.
