So which one is it? Description states: Our Duvet Comforter Fillings are made of 3D 250 GSM, a premium WHOLE-PIECE polyfill fabric Product information states: Fill - Polyester. Seller says goose down feathers and then says microfiber.

What is the warmth factor? I am looking for a lightweight but very warm duvet for our -10 winter nights.

The coldest our home gets without the heat on is about 40* and the duvet is warm and lightweight, but for -10 you may want a second blanket if the heat is off at night.

Can this be used just as a comforter for bed without inserting to make it fluffy?

No. It’s like a flat blanket. It’s not even an adequate duvet insert. Very disappointing.
