Plastic tape coating is 1/16th of an inch wide and NOT strong. Wire separates from the plastic tape while you use it. Some already separated on the spool. Worthless. Do not buy. The only good point, Too cheap to bother to return. Should have known better. You get what you pay for!

While one end of the wire protrudes from the coil, to use the package effectively you must REMOVE THE LABEL. Under the label is the correct end one must use. I had to "dynamically dissemble" the package before I could discover this. Fortunately Gorilla Tape managed to hold the pieces together, but it is aesthetically unsatisfying.

This product needs a short rod of some sort to go in the center of the reel this comes on. Without a center post, the product does not stay in a good "wrap" - but just slips out of round and you have the biggest mess you can imagine. The cutter works great. I ended up cutting several foot long pieces and some shorter and just put them in a baggie. I also put a bolt, washers, and a nut in the center so that you can pull out the twist tie without the whole thing getting unraveled. If this doesn't make sense, you'll find out if you buy the product. No objection to the product itself.

Totally useless to me due to it being tangled on the roll. Couldn't pull more than a couple inches without it jamming and the coating breaking off. I may try to break the roll and salvage what I can.

This is a solid product. It is about the quality/gauge of the garden tie wire you might buy at the local chain hardware store, but it comes in black instead of that obnoxious green color they usually sell. This makes it easier to hide, which is good for applications like orchid mounts or terrariums, where you might need a garden tie but don't want it to stand out.This is exactly what it looks like. Everyone has interacted with twist ties before. This a spool of twist ties. Nothing more, nothing less.

I've used nearly the whole roll now in 2 summers of planting. It's light enough for peas, but can double or triple up to hang small fans in a tent.My only complaint is that the roll I received did not had a "start" to the line. I couldn't find it! Asked my husband for help and he eventually gave up and just snipped a bit for me to start off, which I'm sure was in the middle of the roll. So, it's been a fun ride figuring out what strands will pull, which won't budge and which line will be 3 inches long. So the dispenser doesn't really dispense anymore. It looks like a movie prop spider made of twist ties. Adventure!

I was pleasantly surprised when this twist-tie spool had its own cutter. I guess I missed that feature in the product description. I was about to hang some solar flowers on my patio arbor and got out the package of twist-ties and a pair of scissors only to find out that I didn't need them. The ties are easy to use, seem strong and the cutter works perfectly. I like the fact that it is one continuous spool and I can cut the ties to the size needed for my project. I was able to hang my flowers quickly and easily and this was a great buy for me. I also plan to use them for tying up plants in my garden when necessary.

Since I really wanted white and bought gray because it was cheap I'm delighted. It's only slightly greyer than the spool. There are two ends sticking out. One messes the whole thing up and the other unspools perfectly so you have to pick the right end. It's not as heavy gauge as some green twist tie I bought before and I doubt it will be as durable but I'm going to use it to trellis annual vines so it just needs to be stiff enough to direct through a hard to reach gap behind the downspout without being like "pushing string".
