Some of the negative reviews of this bath bench made me nervous. For that reason I had purchased a non-folding bath bench, but I really didn't like that one as it took up a lot of space when not in use and was difficult to adjust. I found that none of the complaints on this model have been an issue for me. I'm using this in a shower stall and it fits just fine. It was easy to assemble and folds up fairly compact. Adjusting the height is easy. It's very stable and easy to set up and fold away. I saw some complaints that it was difficult to set up correctly, but I found it's actually more difficult to not set it up correctly. The legs are clearly marked A or B and where they attach are clearly marked A or B. Adjusting the height is easy. When you unfold it, it snaps securely into place. It's take a little bit of effort, but it does unfold fairly easily as well. The feet hold firmly and do not slide around the bottom of the stall. The drain holes and textured surface keep water from pooling and prevent you from sliding around. I find this to be a good value and wish I purchased this one first instead of the non-folding one I started with.

Just what I needed! Not too big, easy to clean, sturdy, and foldable/adjustable so I can put it out of the way when not being used or easy to pack when traveling!

I purchased this to take on road trips so that when I stay in a motel, I can be seated to take a shower. I am at the top of the weight limit. The bench is sturdy and well crafted. It will suit my purposes well as it can be folded and will fit in the back of the car, easily, with the luggage. I won't know until I'm on the road with it how it will fit in various motel bathtubs. I'm counting on it, though.Update 3/17/19: All of the above still applies. However, after staying at three different motels with it, I find that it does not fit a standard width bathtub. I've placed it the other way and straddled it but that is not practical and I fear that it will not hold up. This would be best used in a walk in shower. I am dropping it from five stars to four since it doesn't meet my needs. It is, however, a quality product.I have a bath chair at home and it is very difficult for me to stand, safely, to take a shower, especially if there are not grab bars. I'll update this if there are any problems but I think it is going to be a real boon to my road trips.

Well made and adjustable folds to an almost flat profile for easy carry. Unfolds and ready to use quick and EZ.

I bought this so I could have a chair in my shower but remove it if I didn't want it. This is perfect because when it is not in use it folds up and easily stores away. I know it is not exactly pretty to look at but it does get the job done and easy to clean.

This was a complete lifesaver for me. I broke my foot, but am still able to bathe since I'm in a walking boot. Our shower has corner benches, but it was hard to get up and down because they're so small, and it just overall wasn't comfortable for too long. Washing my hair was a chore, even with a handheld showerhead. And maneuvering around the shower on one foot was exhausting.So my husband suggested getting one of these, and this is the one that seemed most promising. I liked that it could fold so it would be out of the way when he showers. I'm not sure about the reviewers who said it was hard to fold/reopen. I've been using it for about 7 weeks now without issue. My husband folds it up before his shower in the morning and then opens it back up for me after he's done. Says he's never had trouble with it.No, it will not fit in a bathtub, but it fits great in our shower stall. Completely sturdy - I'm about 250lbs and I never feel like it's going to collapse under me, even though I was sitting down pretty hard on it the first week or so. I was surprised at how angled it was, but we just adjusted the legs so it only tilts forward a smidge. Doesn't slide around while I'm using it either, but moves easily if I need to adjust it while standing.Would highly recommend to anyone who can't stand in the shower. I'm able to hop in, turn and sit, and angle the showerhead so the water hits my head the same as normal.

I received the Drive Medical Folding Chair as described but since it was to be a gift did not assemble it right away. In the time until it was able to be used, the term for returning it through Amazon had expired, however, I discovered that when the chair was assembled it was not quite straight for reasons which could not be ascertained. I contacted the Drive manufacturer and explained our situation. The representative from the company promptly contacted us by e-mail within a day and requested that I send them the registration number on the seat along with a photo of the problem described. Once again, in a very short time they responded to tell me that a replacement would be sent out and what I was to do with the defective chair. The replacement seat was as it should be and my wife is very pleased with this product. I think that any company/seller who attend to issues, such as we had, so promptly and so satisfactorily should be praised for doing so. I would do business with them again in the future.

Very easy to put together and has made my showering more easy than a conventional perch stool takes my weight easy which is 127kg and my shower is a good size so when folded out I have enough room and more importantly I feel confident and safe when sitting down.

I'm unable to stand and this is perfect for in our shower in our travel trailer,love that it folds up almost flat for easy storage
