I ordered this as a gift for a foreign friend. They really loved the fabric. But honestly I did not find the fabric soft, i would probably buy the other fake pashmina which are softer

It's long, warm, smooth to use. Ordered 2nd time. You have to use with care.You can wash with cold water but DON'T use strong detergents, Avoid scrubbing, twisting, or rubbing and DON'T squeeze !Just soak for sometime, wash and hang on to dry. Also DON'T dry in direct sunlight

Defective; frill on one end is cut wrong. Returning. Amazon status shows return initiated and picked up when the pickup never happened.

shawl is large enough for adult males, its not very warming . I don't think the material is pure wool. seems more of jute or some other heavy strand thread making the shawl a bit rough feel and heavy.But like they say you get what you pay for. it definitely worth the money and if you are staying in mildly cold areas like towards the mid or southern or coastal parts of India.
