will these swabs fit into a headphone/earphone jack?

Depending on which size jack you are talking about, they may or may not fit. The bigger issue is that if you are able to get the tip into the jack, you run the risk of a fragment breaking off and remaining inside the jack after "cleaning." I would advise against attempting it.

Can these be used with acetone?

I have used these with Remington Bore Cleaner, and Ballistol and with no difficulties. Hope this helps.
