Amazon: why do you put blue aluminum dye in your pills?! so unnecessary!! the older white version was much better.

I prefer colored pills. It helps to make sure you don't confuse them with other similar designed pills. Really, there are a lot more critical things to be concerned about.

They are not "addictive," but if you use them long-term, you will develop a dependence on them and it will be difficult to break away. I used them nightly for almost a year, developed a tolerance to where I needed a double dose for it to be effective, and then when I quit I would get an awful case of hives. It took me several weeks to wean myself off of them, and it was a rough several weeks, with frequent bouts of hives.

Do these contain dye, specifically Red or Blue dye?

Same as antihistamines?

Yes, they are antihistamines but the main ingredient is doxylamine succinate rather than the more common diphenhydramine which is found in most over the counter sleep aids.
