One of the Best Chairs Amazon offers!
THOUGHTS The Dowinx gaming chair is one of the best gaming chairs sold on Amazon. If your having doubts on what chair to buy and if this chair is a good choice, have no worries about buying the Dowinx. COMPARISON It’s a super comfortable chair for extended gaming sessions or working from home. I have compared this chair to the Respawn 110 chair which I bought before this chair and without a doubt this chair is better. SEAT CUSHION The seat cushion is excellent, nice and soft yet firm enough to support your weight without sinking to the bottom like the Respawn and having your but be uncomfortable due to the seat cushion flattening so much that your sitting on the frame. LUMBAR PILLOW Just like the seat cushion the chairs lumbar pillow and head pillow provide the same comfortable support. The firmness of the pillows is crucial because if they’re too soft they sink into chair. I had this issue with the Respawn, the lumbar pillow would flatten from the weight of my back and would sink into the crevice of the chair due to me shifting back and forth. The Dowinx solved that issue and also added the massaging function which is a really nice feature. NECK PILLOW Just like the lumbar Pillow The Neck Pillow Offers great support. One great example is I’ll sit in the chair, recline it back, sink my neck into the pillow, and it makes my phone use excellent. It puts my head and neck aligned with my phone while being supported in comfortable position. My back is comfortable due to the neck and lumbar pillow conforming to me like a bed so I’m not slouching or staring down at my phone arcing my neck in bad position. FOOT REST The foot rest is another feature I really enjoy because I’ll use the chair to read. I pull the rest, Recline to a good position, lay my legs on the rest, and it makes it so comfortable to read. Also the same ergonomic method I use when I use my phone works just the same when I’m reading. Also sometimes I’ll sit crisscross on the chair and restrict blood flow to the rest of legs when I’m siting like that, so I’ll just slide the foot rest out and lay my legs out and problem solved. ARM REST I like how the arm rest reclines with the chair so your hands lay flat and comfortable on the arm rests. Napping on the chair is also a good option because of the reclining arm rest. WHEELS The wheels are simple, smooth, and roll well. Personally I upgraded all my wheels to a single blade wheel design. So it rolls much easier but it did add more height to the chair when it’s at its lowest level so keep in mind if you want the feature. It may raise your chair so much that your feet may not touch the ground. I’ve seen it happen to my colleagues. STYLE In my opinion the Dowinx has a modern look with beautiful embroidery which is aesthetically pleasing making your office or setup look professional yet stylish. Also they offer many colors so you can style your area much easier. SETUP Building it wasn’t hard, all the hardware you need to build the chair is included and it offers a nice instruction booklet and video instructions. Thank you for reading this and hope this review helps you. Also if this was helpful hit the helpful button and have great Day.

Good quality
I remember reading a few reviews prior to buying this chair that said the sewing started to come undone and things like that, but so far (5-6 months later) it still looks like it did when I bought it. I can confirm it feels like you're going to tip over backwards when it leans back, but it hasn't, and it does like to tip forward if you're the kind of person who sits on the edge of their chair so it could drop you on your butt if you're not careful. I do wish the bottom cushion wasn't so long, it makes sitting all the way back in the chair awkward. And yes, of your over about 5'8" - 5'10", the footrest is more like a calf rest and is all but useless to you. I took the lumbar support off because it's basically just a big padded vibrator and is very loud. But even with all that said, I think it's worth the money as it is overall comfortable, sturdy, and good quality. The recline works well, the height adjust doesn't move on you arbitrarily, they could've done with more padding on the backrest, though. The racing seats in my project car have more padding than that, but I'm nit picking now. If you are a gentle to only mildly abusive user, not less than 5'4", and no more than 200lbs, this chair will serve you well.

I did A LOT of Research
I did a lot of research for a chair that would help correct my posture, but also be durable, comfortable and a decent value. I'm pretty sure I chose correctly. Pros: - Really intricate stitching really sets it apart -- there's a lot of chairs like this, but none look quite this good. - Faux-leather has a neat "weave" pattern. - Padded armrests are firm but comfortable and hinge when you recline. - The recline is really comfortable. - Surprisingly sturdy footrest. - Have put the seat all the way back and I haven't fallen on my ass; the center of gravity and base seems sturdy and well-balanced. - Seat cushion seems firm and supportive. - Fully-upright posture is made comfortable by the neck pillow thing. - The base and wheels look really well constructed. We'll see how well they hold up, but I actually have high hopes. (I'm very wary of replacing the wheels with those rollerblade casters because I think it would throw off the center of gravity and toss me onto my head.) Cons (sort of): - Pleather (faux-leather, whatever) is a little squeaky. - Seat back hinge has some give in the locking position so that when you push yourself up from sitting, the seat back sort of rocks forward. Not a huge deal, but the first time I wondered if I had tightened all the bolts properly. - Massaging feature on the lumbar support leaves a lot to be desired, but it's not a bad bonus. - I could use some ventilation in the lumbar region. - Slightly (like, very slightly) shorter than other chairs I'm used to. Fine for me, but might be a consideration for very short individuals. - Wish I could tighten the neck pillow strap to lock it in place. (The elastic strap does a commendable job to keep it in place, but I'd like to lock it the hell down.) - I could use some more adjustable positions to customize it precisely to my frame -- armrest height, shoulder-wing flare, hip flare, lumber support arch, footrest reach -- but honestly, for the price I think that may be asking too much. I'm very impressed, and I think it hits the price-point perfectly. I'll be very interested to see how it holds up, but I think even if it starts to wear out in a few years, I'd keep the frame and just replace the parts or reupholster it in something with more durability and ventilation -- something woven, perhaps? It makes me wonder what a $400 or $500 Titan chair does better. (I guess I'll never know, because this chair really ticks all the boxes.) If anything goes horribly wrong, I'll be sure to edit this review, but for now I'm def satisfied.

Durable, parts available, good service
This chair is durable, comfortable, and they have great service. I bought this chair in March of 2021. March of 2026 I still have it. By 2026 I did wear out one arm rest, I tend to lean on one elbow while I work. Unsure I reached out do Dowinx, I thought it was a long shot, yet they were able to sell me replacement parts. Five years on, everything else about the chair was still in good shape, it was just the padding in one arm I wore out. I put the replacement arms on, good as new. Could the padding in the arms be a little more stout, probably. If I get a few more years out of this chair, that's going to be a pretty good run. I am happy I didn't have to shop for another chair as I like this one. I am happy that I didn't have to throw the entire chair in the trash because one part went bad. It's refreshing to see products that aren't just treated as disposable. It's nice that they had prompt customer service that got back to me in a day or so. After a few e-mails they figured out what parts I needed, I think it was a week or less for the replacement parts to arrive.

Nice upgrade from my old gaming chair!
So after a number of years, I decided to treat myself to a new gaming chair. After looking at product reviews here on Amazon, I landed on this model from Dowinx. I honestly hadn’t heard of them but the reviews were good. The shipp No was quick and after getting the chair delivered today I quickly disassembled my old chair and in the dumpster it went. The new chair went together really well. The instructions are very clear and walk you through step by step. The headwear appears to be of good quality and I had no issues with bolts not lining up or stripping. They include a T-handle Allen wrench for the larger bolts and a smaller regular Allen for the small bolts. I had no issue getting. Everything snugged up tight. The chair is super comfortable but firm enough to be supportive. I’m 6’2” and 185lbs and fit great. The recline feature is nice and armrests automatically swivel with and adjustment you make. The covering on the chair is a kind of woven synthetic leather feel to it, very nice. The lumbar support definitely lives up to its name, my old chair didn’t have one and I usually had to have a small rolled up blanket behind me or my back would start hurting. The included head pillow is nice, I’ve got mine adjusted to rest just below the bottom so f the back of my head. Overall I’ve been highly satisfied with the purchase. There were chairs that were significantly cheaper but I’m confident their quality would have also been significantly less. This doesn’t feel like something your kid would buy, I’d definitely recommend considering it if you are an adult gamer. I paid for this chair, it wasn’t a promotion so I didn’t have to say any of the stuff you just read. I legitimately am very pleased with this chair.

It Is Just "Okay"
Purchased the chair in April. It is still stands, no rips or tears. The only thing not used on it has been the leg rest. When I first was researching to get a chair, there were a lot of chairs that said they were compatible for the Big & Tall. This chair is NOT one of them. I am about 6'6 and I was around 350lbs but have dropped down to 290. I needed something that could handle the amount of gaming that I did, as well as gave me somewhere comfortable to sit while I did work. It is now October 26th in the same year that I bought the chair, roughly 7 months. The arm rests are flat as pancakes. There is no support AT ALL anymore cushion wise with the arm rests. In my opinion, arm rests should be made of a gel material given the amount of action they are going to see. The padding on the seat of the chair also seems to be compacted and no longer expands. The complimentary lumbar support that vibrates also has suffered the same fate from whatever type of foam they use. After long periods, you find your arms hurting (mainly your elbows) and kind of numb. Same with your rear end. One of the BIGGEST issues though, that I absolutely hated from the beginning and it seriously has been a problem from the assembly, is the flared sides where your legs are. The way that the chair rolls up on the edges to the left and right, NOT A FAN!!!!! If you have big thighs, or you're a guy and you don't sit with your legs closed because of comfort reasons, these edges will dig into your outer thighs and will be the bane of your existence. From all the time I have spent in this chair, it appears that the points at which those flares press into my legs, I am just numb there now on both legs. Is that something I should see a doctor over? Doubt it. Probably just some pinched nerves since there are metal pieces flared up pushing into my legs. If you sit forcing your knees together, the flare ups don't touch the sides of my legs and it is fine, but uncomfortable as hell. Imagine Catholic school if you will. When I bought this chair, there used to be something in the title about (Big & Tall) which is what I was looking for. It also mentioned it in the title, and there were reviews that mentioned it as well. Now there is no mention of Big & Tall compatibility in the title or the specs. There probably are still comments, but they aren't truthful. To further answer some questions, I am not rowdy with my stuff. I play flight sims, or I stream GTA Role Play. I don't jump around in my chair, and I have only used the recline function once. It isn't like I put it through a stress test. This is from basic use of sitting in the chair from April to now. Although 350 sounds like a lot, when you're 6'6 it isn't as bad as it sounds. I am not spilling out over the chair, I fit comfortably with the exceptions of the flare ups on the front sides and the padding failure. Sadly disappointed long term with the chair given the fact the chair I used prior was an office chair from Best Buy that was purchased in 2014 and it still has the padding and support it had from the day it was unpackaged. If you're looking for something to last you for a year or less, I would suggest it. But if you have to spend a lot of time in your chair, this is not the chair for you!

Great gaming/desk chair for the price point
This is only my initial review of the chair, and I'll come back and update if I need to, later on. I have never owned a gaming chair, and mever thought I needed one. I was so wrong. I have only been using regular computer/desk chairs up until I purchased this. I game and watch shows on my computer, but I'm also a graphic designer; so most of my time is spent at my computer desk. I'm 5'9" and 210lbs and this chair is the perfect size for me and the cushioning is very comfortable. I was skeptical at first when I was assembling the chair, as the backrest felt like it wouldn't be comfortable at all. However, with the lumbar support and neck pillows, this chair is wonderful. I often get lower back pains from sitting too long at my computer, but this chair has relieved all of that. The parts and build, post-assembly, are suprisingly sturdy for it's price range. I got it with the 20% off sale, and I don't regret it at all. I love being able to recline and lock the chair in position when I'm just lounging and watching something. I usually prefer to watch on the big tv in the living room, but when I'm spending most of the day in my study and working, I take tv breaks in the same space, so it's quite nice. The foot rest doesn't extend quite long enough for my legs as my calves are where it stops, and my legs are longer than my torso. But, it is very comfortable to curl up in the chair when it's reclined and you have the footrest out. The "massager" is nothing more than a vibrating cylinder and doesn't really massage your back at all, but I have an actual massage seat that can be placed on any sitting surface that works wonders, and this wasnt a selling point for me anyway. So far, I am loving this chair, and it looks great in my study.

Almost worthless Wobble Chair
It was the best chair I ever owned for a few days. Then one day I leaned slightly to the left to grab my drink and heard a metallic popping sound from under the seat. After that it became the wobble chair, and was unable to maintain a solid rigid position when locked in place. The company reached out to me via Amazon and attempted to make things right. They asked for a video and pictures so they could identify the problem. (I've included the video in this review.) A week or 2 later I received a brand new base plate from their factory in China. Except they didn't give instruction for how to remove the haudraulic rod from the base. According to youtube a pipe wrench and a gentle turn is all it takes. Im here to tell you it takes a pipe wrench and a homerun swing from a rubber mallet. Lmao. I ended up swapping out the parts, and while it no longer squeeks it also still has a slight wobble in the locked position. Noticeable and annoying wobble. A return worthy annoyance for mechanical failure. Plus side of the chair: If you're a grown man the leg rest will not buckle or bend. Very good design on the leg rest. My favorite feature. The vibrating pillow is absolutely useless. I promise it will bring you no relief. Might as well drive back and forth over a cattle guard or railroad tracks, or the rumble bars on the shoulder of the road at 75 mph. The pillow also arches your back into an ungodly and uncomfortable position. Assembly: Absolutely amazing. Idiot proof. 1 person can do it. Genius level assembly design. Comfort: comfort level 100/100. Im 250 lbs grown man and avid gamer aside from being a productive member of society. This thing will cradle you like a new born baby for up to 12 hours or more of straight gaming. Not that I've done that before, or have i? You'll never get stiff or sore in this chair though. Summary: Just a crap chair that squeeks and wobbles. Will be contacting Amazon again to sort this out. Now that the chair is damaged from the pipe wrench I probably just threw a couple hundred dollars in the garbage.

GREAT QUALITY.
Its the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in my life with a massager and a footrest what else do we need.

Incredibly comfortable chair, easy assembly, excellent value
Purchased during the Black Friday sale in 2024, chair was very easy to assemble. Most difficult part was the base assembly, but if you manage to partially install all 5 legs, then flip it upright and step on the center base carefully, you can snap all 5 legs into place with little effort. Overall quality is fantastic at this price point, attention to detail is good. The arms are slightly flimsy, as is the foot rest assembly and most likely won't last beyond a few years, but for at this price point, the overall quality exceeds expectations. both back and seat cushions are well padded and comfortable (household users are 5'10" - 180 lbs and 5'2" - 120 lbs) seat depth is good enough that we can sit crosslegged without using the foot rest. "Massage" function is basically just a mild vibration in the lumbar cushion which does nothing for us. Cushion itself is comfortable enough and the location is adjustable along the two straps that wrap vertically around the back section of the chair. Overall width is good, much wider than either of us need, seat depth is good as well. Overall 5 stars and would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and decently built office/gaming chair.
