Darice NSP103 E-Z Cuts It Crafting Jigsaw

Haven't really used it yet. It didn't work for the project that I bought it for. The blade protector cover does not allow you to see the pattern that you wish to cut. Plan to try it without the "protector".

I thought this was an actual jigsaw. it is basically a wire with blobs of plastic (teeth) that goes up and down. I had bought to cut thin pieces of wood. I threw it away because it would only tear (not even neatly) single sheets of paper.only good thing I can say about it is It plugs in and you might find another use for the power adapter. It works in an old calculator I had.

This little tool is great for the value. It works great on small projects, such as balsa wood models. The only problem i have with it is it is very noisy. But for what i payed i can deal with that

i got this item in the mail , for what it is it is ok.not very stable when operating , has suction cups that are useless.i thought it would be a little more "heavyduty" only cuts card stock , foam and balsawood 1/16 inch thick , made for children , not a precision piece of equipment , i didnt realize this was a toy , the ad made it seem more like a tool than a toy. as a toy it is cool , as a tool , not so much.

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. Yes, the E-Z Cuts It machine vibrates, but it vibrates because it's so powerful and plastic is lightweight. It has sticky suction feet. Place it on a sturdy table with a smooth surface and it's not a problem at all. My seven year-old was using it right out of the box. I was worried at first she might cut herself, but one would need very flat fingers to get around the protective barrier. Paper and foam cut like butter. It's so easy to cut, I might want to use it myself. Details are a little difficult, because the cut out paper starts slipping. Large shapes are easier than small ones. I think slicing the paper straight through is the best approach, then go back and cut off the excess.The kit comes with some stencils and foam to get started. Unfortunately, the stencil shapes are small, and it's hard to cut small. The box says it needs batteries, but it comes with a plug, so we didn't need to use batteries at all. Just remember it's a toy, not a heavy duty crafting machine. I think it makes such a great gift, I went out and bought five more just like it.______________UPDATE:This product may be used with the following materials:+ craft foam 2 mm to 3 mm thick+ balsa wood (up to 1/16: thick)+ cardstock (up to 80 lb. weight)

This is designed more for children than for crafters. This was bought to use to cut popsicle sticks but can't do it. Better for foam board or thinner. It's okay for what it is.

This product takes forever to cut through simple foam and it makes a very ugly rough cut at that. I through it in the trash. I couldn't even bring myself to give it a way.
