I owned one of the older versions that I loved, until I broke it. The head of these swatters is made of a very durable and thick material, but the handle is very short. Each swatter is easy to clean. Overall, they do the job.

Fly swatter is a nice heavy duty swatter just like the one I had except the handle is shorter. Wish it was a few inches longer.

I have an older version of this fly swat that I purchased years ago, and was very happy to find these online. It's the same brand, same quality handle and swatter, but the handle is about 4" shorter than the original version. It's very durable and heavy weight as described, but the short handle makes it heavy on the swatter end and difficult to use.

I got tired of fly swatters bending at the handle when trying to swat a fly. This solved the issue completely. The handle is a much thicker and stiffer wire than any fly swatter I've seen before. My only reason for giving it 4 stars rather than 5, is because the plastic head is too hard. The material should be more supple so that it conforms to surfaces as you swat bugs. This one is so stiff that you could risk damaging stuff if you are not too careful with it, and it is more likely to pulverize bugs leaving more of a mess than standard fly swatters. It does the job. The handle is perfect, I just wish the head was a little more forgiving like a standard swatter. *long term update* Nothing has changed. Still have these after years of use. To further explain to you the rigidness of the metal handle and plastic swatter, I was able to dispose of a mouse with one swat. Not your average fly swatter at all. (not that it needs justification but the mouse had been making a mess and destroying some stuff that it shouldn't have). My feelings about the plastic part being too stiff for normal use on insects is still relevant though. Definitely has potential to leave a mark or knock something over if you aren't careful (and it's hard to be careful and still achieve enough speed to land a good hit on a fly without using too much power). I'll mark it up to 5 stars though because I would rather keep these around than get something with an inferior bendy handle.

Heavy duty! Solid but flexible.

Really well made product, best I’ve seen and used. Would definitely recommend this. Hopefully it will be long lasting and justify its price, although this is mainly due to import costs from the USA.
