Excellent grill, perfect for toasted sandwiches. Easy cleaning and fast warm up time. Very impressed so far.

Bought one of these for my daughter heading off to university, and while she hasn’t quite become a master chef contestant, she’s surviving. Cheese toasties seem to be particularly popular, and combination of the relatively small size and ease of cleaning means it can be considered effective.

This is my 3rd George Foreman grill, my first was the more expensive grill with removable dishwasher proof plates something was wrong with the plates, not the cooking side the other side, I don’t know what the plates are made from but one wash in the dishwasher they came out black, you could not remove the residue however hard you tried to clean them I contacted George Foreman they replaced the grill, they never answered my question as to why the plates had black residue, they sent a new grill, same issue but I kept it. Recently after a few hrs service I decided to buy a new grill, £34 now under £30 just my luck. Now into my review for the new grill. The plates heat up quickly and is much more efficient than my older grill, steaks, chicken, burgers, toasties all turn out quite well. I try to buy the most lean of cuts to avoid extra grease and mess. Cleaning is reasonably easy clean after eating or just switch it back on later and wait 30 seconds a sheet of kitchen roll and bobs your uncle, wipe away excess fat. The George Foreman words on the top plate should not be there as the cooking residue gets stuck in the lettering, it does come off but requires extra cleaning, the name is on the top it does not require embossed name on a cooking plate!!!!!!! Too many nooks and cranny’s where grease food can go into which will require more intense cleaning in due course that’s if you can get to it. CAUTION be careful only open the lid at the front twice I have accidentally touched both sides, the lip of the plates are slightly exposed, you WILL burn yourself. The grill needs a dedicated handle at the front of the lid although you can open the lid from the front it must be done at the very front. I’m unsure what plastic is used to make the casing but it is not easy to keep nice and clean however hard you or careful you are it easily shows marks, cosmetic I know but I like smart gadgets in my kitchen. The grill needs a timer my old one had a timer that is very useful, it is easy to go off for a moment and forget, no big deal as I use a hand timer. I’ll still give the grill 4 stars though because it’s a grill and my bacon, steaks, chops, sausages chicken and occasionally toasties all cook well.

This looks great, had different but same make. The other were bulky looking. This heated up really quickly, no smell. Drip tray good and deep. Can't wait to get cooking with it. Brilliant price, definitely recommend.

Quick easy to use grills food perfectly easy to clean

I bought this George Foreman grill just before Christmas and it’s already been used a lot! It’s a really good size , big enough to cook a decent meal for 2 , but not so big that it’s a pain to store. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly, which is great when you just want something quick. I’ve used it for chicken, burgers, vegetables and toasties and everything has come out well. Nothing sticks, and once it’s cooled down it’s very easy to clean with a quick wipe. I also like that the fat runs away as it cooks, so food doesn’t feel greasy. It feels solid and well made, and the drip tray works well without making a mess. Overall, it’s simple, reliable and does exactly what you want it to do. A great little grill for easy, everyday meals, I would recommend.

Value for money, good quality, big size

I've had several George Forman grills over the years. This one performs well, does great toasties and cooks well on the grill for meat etc. My last G.F had removable plates and I've deducted a star purely because this doesn't. It seems they no longer make them with removable plates, only one where you can remove the whole electrical part, but that grill is small and not big enough for my needs. It isn't difficult to clean (so far). TIme will tell how well the non stick surface holds up. The floating hinge helps to get even cooking, but I do find I have to hold the top down at the front unless the item is very thin.

sent it straight back. don't know what country plug is from. if amazon sells in australia they should make sure its for our power outlets.

The plug to put into power point is foreign one Need Amazon to supply a device so I can use this Buyer beware
