Will buy again
Does a good job, is fine and perfect for flower drying as it won't tear the petals, it does not get stuck on the flowers as much as other brands I have tried.

Tried many ways, this was the best method.
Love the color change. Need to preserve some special flowers and ruined the first attempts in a freeze dryer. The remaining ones went into this silca and came out very good. I did leave them undisturbed for a full month. Again these flowers were important to preserve. No damage and completely dry when removed. Just be mindful of how you handle the flowers once they are dry. They are delicate. But it does work very well.

Frozen in Time
Instructions were clear and the material is so easy to use! You can reuse it as many times as you like and it gives you instructions on how to dry it back out once you have used it enough. So far I have been able to dry quite a few orchids and it's been great! It doesn't even affect the color of the flower but if you use a paler color flower it will look muted. I love it!

Worked perfectly!
Great and even easy for a non crafty person to use!! Saved my moms funeral floral arrangement to make a shadow box! Look exactly the same when dried! Color and all, just be gentle!

First time user and it worked out great!
Wow is all I can say! Never knew something like this even existed but was very pleased using it for the first time. I started a new resin hobby so I am no expert but I wanted to try a flower project and bought this stuff and it didn’t disappoint. Preserved my flowers beautifully and I was able to put them in resin to preserve for a lifetime. I was so happy I bought another bag and started to preserve more flowers for other projects. One project is done and that’s the photo I provided in this review. I thought for a first time use this couldn’t have turned out any better. Really happy and will purchase again when I need to. It’s a plus that it’s reusable!

Worth the purchase
This is my second time using the wisedry Silica Gel. I first purchased this sand with no prior experience drying flowers before and I have to say this was very easy to use and the florals still look great but dried. I'd recommend this to others- cost, effectiveness and size were both great. It was also a bonus that there is no odor from the sand.

Works great so I keep buying it when I need more.
This stuff works very well. It's quite fine, and significantly finer than regular table salt or white sugar. I use it in airtight containers to keep the contents dry. I also use thermo-hygrometers to tell me the humidity in the containers. For the regular Wiseorb silica gel beads, I use 4"x3" muslin bags, but this is too fine for them. For this stuff, I use paper tea bags as it doesn't fall through the pores. I've used both unbleached and bleached (white) paper tea bags. I like the white ones better as they're slightly translucent so I can see the granules, whereas with the unbleached paper tea bags, they're quire opaque. Drying it out is very easy. Microwave or oven. Microwaves work, but you need to do it intermittently otherwise you'll burn it or burn the muslin/paper tea bags. (Some tea bags will melt, so avoid those - test 1 bag when drying first.) Drying in the oven really seems to be the best way. I dry it for long period at the lowest temperature possible - 170 on my ovens. You don't accidentally burn it that way, like can happen in a microwave.
