What I've Been Looking For!!!
I've been looking for a cheap and decent bluetooth speaker seeing as I use an iPod Nano 7th gen to listen to podcasts and audio books mostly. My trouble was getting ready in the morning, headphones got annoying when putting on shirts and what-have-you. I saw it on display at a local retailer (but they had it for online only for some reason), so I ordered it on here for 1/2 the price, and I haven't looked back.Pros:1) it's small (i have a tiny bed-side table)2) an easily readable clock3) Bluetooth, Aux & USB (for charging)Cons:1) LCD brightness at night. Like others have stated, it's still pretty bright without it being off, but I can live with it.

Horrible. Just horrible. Is this a joke?
This is my fifth iHome device. Up till now, I've had total confidence in their design sensibilities. This one, however, fell way off the mark. What's not to like?+ The pairing works fine. However, that doesn't really mean anything. It's anyone's guess whether you will wake to the song you had cued up on your phone or the din of the incredibly piercing and loud beeping.+ And that beep sound? It makes that loud beep when you push the buttons to set the alarms. So if you happen to crawl into bed after the person you happen to be sleeping with these days has already fallen asleep, you should be prepared to make apologies, if not administer CPR, after setting the alarm if you didn't have the forethought to do this earlier. Actually, that's kind of a joke. They'll already be awake and fuming by the time you head upstairs to bed. Why? Keep reading:+ Every time the bluetooth connects, this dismal piece of engineering beeps twice. I didn't have any idea about this till my wife asked me something along the lines of, "what #@#@ thing is making all that @%*(% beeping all ##$% day up-#@($-ingstairs??" I said I didn't know, and pretty much blew her off like she was a crazy person and went to check if my health insurance covered crazy persons. But, no. She was right this time. EVEN IF my phone's bluetooth is not set to use the little black box of hate for media output, the poor excuse for modern tech makes this beeping every time I get within range of the thing. One other thing to note, and I'm not judging here... I just want anyone who's reading this to know for sure in case they glossed over the description: There is no radio. So there's no giving up on the bluetooth and just going with the banal inanity of your local shock jocks to wake you from your dreams of a perfect tomorrow with hover cars and clear skin. Nope. You go to sleep and you hope that you can wake just before the alarm clock. Heck, you might find yourself setting another alarm to wake you for this purpose. As for me, I'm going to find a ridiculously uneven table to prop up with this thing. Then I'm going to go find a $5 alarm clock that doesn't make every day start with hands shaking too badly to open the bottle of xanax.YMMV.

It's the little things
I bought this because I wanted an alarm clock that could charge my cell phone and showed the set alarm time on its face. What I didn't know is that the alarm the alarm sound and even the button sounds are ear piercingly loud and can't be adjusted, and the snooze alarm automatically turns off after 1 hour (no hitting the button more than 5 times!). The alarm is so loud that you have a panic reaction and instantly want to turn the thing off, so you may accidentally sleep in! I just wish the alarm faded-in to prevent that.

Great Bluetooth Alarm Clock!
Great BT alarm clock AND especially a great price!!The BT functionality works great and I have no complaints about any of the other features. This is all around a great option for an alarm clock. This is also a great space spacing size for any side table. Highly recommend!

Only problem is Bluetooth range
I've had this iHome for about 6 months now and it's decent. Here's what I have to say about it...1. Many people complain that the dimmest setting on the clock is too bright. I disagree. It's really not distracting.2. Some people complain that the iHome is not loud enough. It is PLENTY loud. With my iPhone turned all the way up when connected and the volume at 30, everyone in my two-story house can hear it. And it's pretty small so I'm really not sure what people were expecting from it. It isn't a boombox. The sound quality is also pretty solid. Definitely sounds better than iPhone speakers.3. I don't use the alarm clock EVER. So I have no real insight into that. From what I can tell, it doesn't look hard to use if you follow the directions.4. My only real complaint is the Bluetooth. It isn't great. I have a Bluetooth stereo in my car that is pristine, perfect. This isn't. If I go even a few feet away, my music starts to skip and go out. It's SO annoying. And there really isn't a pattern to it. Sometimes it's perfect and other times it's terrible. For the most part, I just use it at my desk and my phone is close by so it isn't a problem, but if you are looking for something to sit on a shelf or dresser and move about freely all the time with your phone in your pocket, DO NOT GET THIS!!!!Since this isn't too much of a problem for me, I give this 4 stars.

Great Clock / Phone Charger
Great clock which doubles as a phone charger while you sleep. The light has an adjustable setting, but it's still crazy bright. I just keep it off most of the time and use it as a night light when I need to.
