The parts that mount on the wall just barely hit studs on 16" centers so you have no slop in placement. You also lose about 1 inch of "play" when hanging the TV because the hanger can't go all the way to the edge of the walk plate. My studs were exactly centered on the space so I had to mount about 1 inch off center. Not a big deal for me as this install was in a garage cum playroom but if you are anal about centering you might struggle. The install was pretty simple and anyone fairly handy will have no problem making this work. The assortment of screws and spacers looks like it should work with almost any TV. Also comes with a really cheap level which you should only use if you don't have a decent one. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product and would have given it 5 stars if it had been 1 inch wider. Great value for the price.

Good value for a wall mount considering many similar brands are 2x-3x the cost. I had no issues mounting the base-plate to the wall and the brackets go on easily to the TV. I did have some trouble with it being level. I made sure the wall was level (using two different levels) and then made sure the brackets where level across the TV. However, when I hung it it was not. I fixed this with a shim under one bracket. I also found the included cable to not be a high quality cable. On a Comcast cable box it had black dots scattered throughout the picture. When I switched it out with another twisted cable I had bought the problem went away. It does seem to work with a Sony blue-ray player so it's not total junk but not perfect. It was free so not a big deal. The other issue with this mount is getting to the screws that hold the brackets to the base-plate once hung. There is not a lot of room to fit your hand. I ended up needing an 18" screw driver to reach it and it was a pain to line up and screw in. Since I only had to deal with the issues once when hanging the TV I think it was worth it given the cost.

If you're looking for just a plain flush-mount that holds your plat panel on a wall then this is perfectly fine. However, my honest opinion is that it just feels like a $20 mount that comes with a $4.00 cable, and not the overly inflated "List Price" of $160.00 (if the List Price was more like "$39.99" then it could be a little more believable).Their powder coating claim is debatable… It's just not up to par with powder coating that I'm used to. It's a rather thin coating that feels as if its paint could chip-off if dropped on a hard floor.The included inaccurate bubble level is merely a gimmick that does not merit using to level-mount your $3000 electronic on a wall. It's more akin to a prize in a Cracker Jack box.Having that said, I'm okay with the purchase which I mounted a 65-inch Samsung flat panel; but it just made me feel like a cheapskate after having invested several thousand on a system. After all, once it goes up I don't expect to pull it back down unless replacing cables from the back of the unit. One feature I kind of wish I would have done a little more due diligence is a simple locking mechanism so the TV can't easily be picked up off the rack.

This is a fine mount. It is well made and it does tilt. The vertical mounts are too long for my Samsung 5500 series 32" TV. So I cannot recommend it for that size. But for larger TV's it is easily installed. Find your studs for this. The mount has holes all the way across and your studs should be 16" apart. The included level is a great help. I was able to modify the mount to make it work with my 32" and I use the installation with a Directv wireless Genie Mini. Item delivered quickly and ontime.Mount was easy to install (sorta) and works great -- might want to install cable first before putting TV on mount since installing cables is a little tricky after TV is mounted.Only Issue-- I installed mount on Paneling over 2x4 studs-- Predrilled holes-- On the first bolt the head sheared off as I was installing, the bolt was not tight to the mount just screwing it inSent son to hardware store to purchase Lag Bolts of the same size -- they went right in without an issueShould of just purchased quality bolts first -- should of not trusted the prepackaged bolts for the 65" TV

Bought to hang my Samsung 46 inch tv on the wall. The metal seemed thin but I haven't had any issues in the time that the tv has been mounted. It is sturdy when screwed into the wall. The instructions were clear and I was able to put the mount on the wall by myself. The holes on the mounts provide plenty of spaces to put the bolts into the 2x4s wherever they may be on your wall. The hanging parts attached to my tv easily and hanging the tv on the mount and securing it was easy. Having the ability to angle the tv down for better viewing is definitely a necessity for us. The opening in the middle of the mount provided enough space to install a low voltage mounting bracket for hiding the wires in the wall. Will be buying another one of these for the next tv I hang on the wall.

When searching for this kit, I found the #1 and #2 top kits for sale on Amazon. Ended up going with kit #2, and it installed without issue. Nothing to note here (good kit, good hardware, nice cable). However, my neighbors bought the #1 kit (not this kit), which I installed. That kit had wrong HW (bolts not long enough, required trip to hardware store) and the frame itself is not a single piece frame - it bolts together and is not 100% square.The reason I share my review with kit #1 here is so that anyone looking to buy, you'll do yourself a favor buy buing the e-onsale vs. the other brand kit &^*&#@$&*(^.
