Great buy for a GFCI extension.
Has worked great being outdoors for two seasons now, well this winter will be the second season anyhow. I converted an RV 30A plug to a normal household outlet via a conversion adapter sold on Amazon, then attached this GFCI extension chord hosting a 12 gauge extension chord to power a space heater on a dedicated circuit.

Great item. We use these on the water buckets for our horses to keep the water from freezing. If the power goes out we don't have to run to the barn to make sure they are back on when we get power again. We have 5 and love them.

Great extension for my sump
Good extension for my sump pump in the basement, existing outlet was not gfci and this works great so far, wish it cord was a bit longer on the connection part.!

I bought this to trip instead of the house breaker while my camper is plugged in. It consistently trips and automatically resets when I increase the load to much. Highly recommend it when you have a camper plugged into a 15 amp circuit. YMMV

A must have for your RV
If you've got a heated hose during the winter and you're forced to plug it into the RV outlet instead of a separate grounded outlet this is a must-have. If the thing surges this will pop before all your electronics and everything electrical in your RV or trailer is destroyed. Of course I find out the park I'm at as disabled the 110 outlets despite my paying the electric company directly so I'm forced to plug it into the outside outlet on the travel trailer.

Solid build
Ideally, it would be nice if it either came with, or could be selected to have a right angle cable termination at the power plug end - this would allow a neater installation especially outdoors where a stiff plug/cable projecting from the socket could be an impediment. But the build is solid, and the test/reset pushbuttons easy to operate. There is also a clearly visible back illuminated indicator.
