These lights exceeded my expectations. They are nothing like a normal solar light, they are bright bright bright!!! I purchased a two pack because I needed a motion light that would turn on when I take the trash out at night. My trash is in a dark corner and I just didn't like the feeling I got when going out there in the dark. This light changed all that. It triggers when I go out every time. You have to get within a pretty close distance but it really works for me. It makes it so I can see everything. Hurts my eyes actually, ha ha. I keep mine on the setting where it only turns on when it detects motion. I also like that it turns on when creatures come through in the night. So far it has alerted me to a cat and racoon several times.I brought the second light in during an all night power outage and put it in one of my bathrooms on the setting that is supposedly dim, haaa. I guess compared to the other settings. It is really bright. It stays on that steady light without motion detection. It stayed on all night long. Impressive!!!I highly recommend these lights. They are functional to the max and look great too. I made sure to share some pictures of how it lights up my area in the pitch dark. It would be nice if the price was slightly lower though. I noticed other sellers have similar items for several dollars less. But either way I would buy these again, but will wait for a sale.

I am absolutely thrilled with these HMCITY 129 LED outdoor solar lights and give them a well-deserved 5 stars. My wife and I live upstairs, and since our steps were dangerously dark at night, I bought these to light up the area. I was initially a bit concerned about whether they would be bright enough, but they are incredibly bright and easily illuminate a very large area.They are extremely easy to install, and after 6 months of daily use, they are still running super strong and staying amazingly bright every single night.The price is absolutely unbeatable for this level of quality, and my daughter was actually so impressed when she saw them that she went ahead and ordered 3 sets for herself.It is a fantastic, reliable product that gives us complete peace of mind when walking up the stairs at night, and I highly recommend it!

this is actually my second 6- pack .. that is how much I like it..✔️ decent brightness /quality/reliability*this type of design is great if you just need a all-in-one unit in contrast to some of the others that have a separate solar panel..I would suggest mounting this a type of location that has great direct sunlight ..(if you have the type of awkward location that requires you to mount the solar panel somewhere else this is not the type for you)**MOUNTING TIPI have been installing these types of solar panel portable lighting systems for a while including the separate solar panel/light.. these lights typically come with tiny screws which I hate .. so I use a combination of zip tie plastic straps and or small brackets when needed.. but for most applications you can get away with using plastic tie straps zip ties ..ie; for outside mounting structures like a barn you can drill a small hole(s) to securely strap it in rather than drilling screws in it (is more of a preference if you prefer to screws themselves) .. zip tie straps are actually ideal for metal guard type rails or bars in general .. if you want to mount it on a pole Amazon does sell Pole mounting kits-basically the kit would consist of a small bracket and a wormhole screw type of metal ring that goes around the pole itself ..bottom line is definitely do some research and check out your intended installation location to see if this type of self-contained lighting works for you or not ..I recommend 👍👍

These are great! Very bright and light up my entire back yard. Great to have for security lights or for lights to have for when you arrive at home in the dark. Motion detection works well.

These work super well for my walkway. I have them set up as motion lights. They work consistently & are very bright. I highly recommend these.

-FIRST CHARGEI purchased (2 pack) these lights for my chicken coop, which is located in a dark area at the back of my property. I received these on Monday afternoon around the afternoon time. I placed the lights out of the box and into the sun light shortly after receiving them. They were in the sunlight for maybe 4 to 5 hours before nightfall. Given the minimal amount of sunlight these received, I fully did not expect them to have enough charge for the light to be bright or illuminate the area I needed, if any of it.-INSTRUCTIONS AND MODESOnce night fall came, I went ahead, removed them from the area I had them placed for the first charge and made my way to the coop. The instructions were simple enough for a second grader to comprehend. Simply take them out of the box, allow them to charge by placing them to receive sunlight, and then choose your mode.Mode 1: Continuous light illuminated at it's highest capacity.Mode 2: The light stays on steadily with a dim light, until motion is detected. Once motion is detected, the light shines at it's greatest capacity for (I Believe around 15 seconds).Mode 3: The light is completely off until motion is detected, if motion is detected the light will turn on to full capacity for around 15 seconds, then turn fully off.The modes are easily adjustable with a simple button on the back. Press it once, the light is in mode one. Press it twice, the light is in mode two. Three times? You guessed it, mode 3. Four presses of the button on the back turns off the light. I am using it in mode 3, which will be in the video, to hopefully deter any predators from around the coop.-LIGHTING AND MOTION DETECTIONLike I said earlier, the lights received minimal charge on the first night. I didn't expect much, but WOW was I blown away. The LED lights lit up much more than I thought they would even if they were at full charge. The motion detection is probably around 15 to 20 foot away if I had to guess. For the price, these lights are far beyond what you pay for.-DURABILITY, AESTHETIC, AND WATER PROOF (WEATHER)Given these are 2 lights for so cheap, the product has the lights and black plastic. Personally, I do not think they look bad, but they probably aren't suitable for the "upper class", fancy type.I cannot comment on the durability as of yet, due to having the product for just a few days, but I will say as long as you aren't throwing, hitting or some how abusing the outer protection area, they seem to will last for much longer than you'd expect for $12 lights.They have only been in one light summer shower this far, but once night fall came they continued to work and no water appeared to have damaged any of the product. This subject will be updated once I am able to speak on these in hard rain or storms.**The coop is not done. It is functional to house chickens safely and efficiently at the time.**

Exactly what I needed to scare off the possums, raccoons and stray animals that love to come around house at night. My camera used to go off every night because I guess they considered my house the party house. The lights annoys them and they run off. They also worked great when we got hit by tornados and didn’t have lights for a week. I put the lights outside all day to solar charge. At night, I’d bring them into the rooms so whatever room I entered the lights turned on to my motion. They worked so well I bought some for my neighbors, who were very appreciative. These lights are great!

These lights checked a lot of boxes for me.First off, they are very bright. When they kick on, they light up a good-sized area without any trouble. Once the lights detect motion and turn on, they only stay lit for a short time before shutting off. If you keep moving around in the area, they will turn off and then on again over and over. It creates this annoying on-and-off cycle when I’m out there walking around with the dog for more than a minute or two. I wish they stayed on longer once activated, especially since the motion sensing itself works so well.Overall, these solar lights have been extremely helpful and useful for my backyard. The brightness is great, the motion feature is reliable, and the price makes them easy to recommend for anyone dealing with a dark outdoor space. Just be aware of the short illumination time if you plan to stay in the area for a while. For quick trips outside with my puppy, they do the job nicely and make the dark feel a lot less intimidating.

Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with these solar lights. They seem fine at first, but the charging performance is very poor.Even after being left in direct sunlight to charge, the lights only stay on for a few minutes before going out. I tried charging them on multiple days, but the result was the same.The main purpose of a solar light is to store enough energy to work through the night, so this is a major issue. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend them.
