Dr. Martens Women's Emmeline Boot

No surprise here, this brand has amazing shoes and the quality is one of the best there is. I wear mine to the office and take 1 hour walks at lunch -time with these, without any pain or problems. The first time I walked for an hour with these I got a blister on the side of one foot but that was right out the box so I cannot complain. The looks is awesome, very cool, clean, shinny, and goes well with skinny jeans or dresses, or pretty much anything you want to wear. The trick for comfort is to find your right size, if it’s a little too big they will feel uncomfortable and the same if you order something too small. I tried twice before finding the perfect size that was VERY-and surprisingly- comfy right out the box, because as you know, leather shoes sometimes are very stiff when new. I’m a size 61/2 - 7 in regular shoes (American Size) and regular width; and I ordered these in the size 4 UK size and they fit like gloves, perfect, not too big, not too small, perfect size for me, very very comfortable. They look amazing, the profile of this particular model is great for me because the sole is not too thick like other models, it’s very slim and almost elegant. Good stuff, I’m so happy I will get me some other colors in the same model :)

Without fail, I'm always a US women's size 8 in boots and sneakers, and a size 7.5 in dress shoes and sandals. I initially had gotten these boots in 6 UK/8 US, but they felt like they were an entire size too large. So, I swapped for a 5 UK/7 US, and they're perfect. A little snug to begin with, and they definitely require about a week or so to break in, but I wear them almost every day now. Durable and comfy, and the cherry red color is a nice change from standard black or brown. It starts off a very dark color, but scuffs to a brighter red underneath that is very pretty.

These are my first pair of Doc Marten's. Not sure why I waited so long. They fit true to size and I'm glad I didn't size up as a few reviewers mentioned. I love the color (for the ladies out there that use OPI nail polish, it's an extremely close match to the Nutcracker Suite's Black to Reality). I thought the leather would be matte tho - it's shiny sort of like patent leather. That's the only negative and maybe missed that in the description. They are incredibly comfortable - I wore them all day the first time. Now that I've got my first pair, they may not be my last pair.

These are a more stylish version than my first docs I bought 30 years ago. I wore these still fairly new walking through uneven brick streets walking several miles a day. As far as support (like foot/ankle stability) they were much better for extended walking than my sketchers go walks and even my saucony running shoes on uneven surfaces. I did get a small red area on the top of one of my feet but this might have been more of a sock issue than a shoe issue.True to typical docs, they run a little larger than most shoes…I ordered a 9 when I usually wear a 9.5.

I ordered this boot because it is very cute and I was really attracted to the color. I am a hardcore fan of Dr. Martens boots but felt a little sold short on this boot. To start off, it lacks the quality that is typically seen in a Dr. Marten boot. I am not sure if it was the patent leather or if it because they have changed their materials but these boots had a plastic feel to them, making me wonder if they where even leather! After a day of wear they where cracking as if they where finished with plastic as well. A plus to these boots is that they do have the comfortable Dr marten insole so that was a plus. I am not the biggest fan of the thinner sole as it did not offer the bounce of the classic Air Wear sole. I ultimately ended up returning this pair of boots because I was so unsatisfied withe the quality of the leather. But they are a cute fashion accessory for someone who has a lot of pairs of shoes. For someone who is being a primary pair of boots, this pair is not for you.

I own Flora boots by Dr. Martens. These boots looked very similar so I decided to get them. And glad I did! Length wise they are the same BUT Flora was so much deeper and looser around the ankle. I hesitated forever and decided to get the same size - and it worked out well! Emmeline is shallower and the width around ankle as ajustable thanks to laces. I still managed to fit my thin leather orthotics and with cotton sox they are great size wise. Ok! - the leather is very STIFF around the ankle. That will take time to break in.Outsole is fantastic - serious grip, cushy, shock absorbent. The innersole looks like leather will not investigate further as I wear leather orthotics anyways. The lining is half leather half synthetic.Great looking boot - goes with everything, go absolutely anywhere and everywhere in them! Mannish look - spot on for me. Men eyed my Flora boots all the time and they will love these for sure!4 stars for stiffness and not full leather lining!

These are wonderful! I needed a new pair of short black boots and really love all of the other docs I own so I was thrilled when I came across these. The fit is typical for docs. I wear 8.5 or 9 medium width women's shoes and I bought the UK 6 for this boot. The width is a true medium and I have enough room in the toe box. The leather is stiff and thick but I haven't had any problems with blisters breaking them in. I can lace them the whole way and they still fit comfortably around my ankle. Very glad I bought these, considering buying in another color. They look great with jeans or skirts and are very sturdy.

Great boot! Looks great and sizing is spot on. They do need a day of breaking in especially the tongue. After being broken in the are exceptionally comfortable and I am on my feet for a full work day. Doc Martens are always fabulous and these are a replacement for a pair I bought in ‘96! Absolutely love these boots and I will probably invest in another pair in a different color.

Son preciosas. Tienen un estilo muy clásico, femenino y el acabado pulido las hace muy versátiles incluso con atuendos más formales. Pedí 25cm y me llegó 6uk, están un poquito grandes pero eso evitará que me cueste amoldarlas. Martens nunca decepciona.

Wer einen qualitativ hochwertigen, langlebigen Schuh mit hohem Tragekomfort sucht, ist bei Dr. Martens genau richtig. Seit 18 Jahren großer Fan. Ich war auf der Suche nach einem schickeren und schmaleren Modell und bin vor ein paar Jahren auf dieses gestoßen. Ob zur Jeans oder zum Kleid, zur Arbeit mit vielem Laufen oder schicken Anlässen, sie sind immer dabei. Einfach mit Schuhwachs rüber und zack wie neu (außer den normalen Gebrauchsspuren). Habe mir das Modell nun nachbestellt, aus Angst, dass meine Lieblinge nicht nachproduziert werden. EMPFEHLENSWERT!

I adore this shoe. I took a big risk (imo) buying this a few days before a trip to France in Feb. It's more expensive than my usual purchases and I didn't know if it would fit my size 6 foot. I could have returned it but that would leave me no time to buy another shoe for the trip. However lucky me, it fit great! The boot is leather so I used a mink oil to polish it to make it even more waterproof. The fit is good for cold weather as you usually wear thick socks. However if you wear thinner socks, you need to size down by 1/2 size. I love the look of these shoes, they look elegant for the fanciest French restaurants and still super sturdy that I walked hours in the rain and on gravel/cobblestones, tripping over stones without a scratch on the leather and never hurting my feet. Just remember to have a shoe buffer on hand so that you can bring back the shine in the shoe. I love how water-resistant these are and quick drying in case water does go through the top of the boot. Also the sleek, slightly masculine look, looks lovely with flowy dress, business or casual attire. I wore it on the flight as well because the slightly oversize shoe can accommodate swollen feet and still be really comfy. I wore this across Paris and Southeast France in both warm, cold and rainy weather. Overall excellent purchase because it was the only shoe I took on the trip.

Estás botas son para toda la vida. Tienen una calidad estupenda. Además son muy calientes. Lástima que no hagan medias tallas porque la talla anterior a la que compré es un poco justa y la siguiente, la que compré, es un poco grande.

veste esattamente il proprio numero. la pelle anche se in apparenza sembra rigida in realtà non lo è, si adatta perfettamente al piede e alla caviglia senza procurare ferite e dolori. calza molto bene e la punta leggermente affusolata la rende più femminile rispetto al modello classico.
