DYMO 18771 LT Iron-On Fabric Labels, 1/2-Inch x 6.5-Foot Roll, Black Print on White, Iron On, for LetraTag Printers

I have a friend in a Nursing Home and she needs to label ALL HER CLOTHING because things keep getting lost when they do her Laundry. These labels worked PERFECTLY on my DYMO LETRATA. I took others suggestions and brought some foil with me and a small iron I got at a craft store. You peel off the front of the label (the black carbon strip) to reveal your printing and then the back and place it on the clothing tag OR on the STAMPED AREA of the brand for items that don't have a clothing tag. Press down on the piece of foil (shiny side UP) do not move around for 30 seconds. Work on another piece of clothing by printing the label, peeling the front and back and placing the label and press down on the FOIL on top of that label for 30 seconds. Go back to the first item and press down on foil again for 30 seconds. Do the same to your second piece of clothing. REpeat a 3rd time and then place the clothing on a flat surface so the label can cool off without being creased. These labels will hold up to many washes and drying. A MUCH less expensive way of marking clothing for kids or camp or for a Nursing Home Resident than ordering pre-printed ones. I was able to make several extra labels to leave with my friend in the Nursing Home for future purchases of clothing.

This item has been helpful in labeling my mother's clothing while she's staying in a nursing home. The only problem that I had was the backing was wanting to come loose before I was ready to remove it. But it still worked okay.

Has lasted well! Peeling the backing off can get tricky but kinda comes with the territory.

We needed to label our son's clothing for camp. We weren't concerned about how long the labels with stay affixed to the clothes, since they wouldn't be washed until after we were home. Printing the labels was just as easy as any Dymo label. The backing pealed off easily to iron onto the clothes. My iron is old and is very rarely used anymore. The labels went on fine. All but one has stayed on (and I'm sure that it's because I probably didn't have a wrinkle out of the fabric, or a corner was not totally affixed). I would certainly use this product again for similar needs. I've only washed the articles of clothing one or two times each, and the labels are staying put.

I was happy to be able to put my brother's name on his clothing. Labels we easy to read. No problems using the machine. Then I started labeling canisters and drawers.

I couldn't believe this would actually do what it said it would.. I mean, an iron-on from my handheld label maker? You're joking! Not so! I recently sent my youngest to camp, and we had the great task of labeling every single piece of clothing, toiletries, toys, socks, linens, towels,etc. It would have been a nightmare without this handy iron on label ribbon for my label maker! The labels came out super fast, and they are small, so ironing them on was a snap, quickly! Love love love this stuff!

Wow, my son went to camp in July and these labels are still on his items. Just make sure you iron them on properly. I used a hot iron on the highest setting and used a cloth between the iron and label. Wanted the labels to stick but not burn up the clothes :) Did 2-3 times. Way cheaper than ordering labels especially if you already have the LetraTag, which I did. Great product will purchase again next year for camp. Just make sure you order enough and start early in case you didn't!
