Is TOP's USDA Organic certified?

Yes, TOP's Parrot Food is USDA Organic certified for its pellets, seed mixes, and treats. It offers the only certified organic pellet free from fillers like corn, soy, and peanuts, and uses only natural, organic, non-GMO ingredients. Made in the USA.

When should I convert my bird to TOP’s pellets?

You can convert your bird to TOP’s pellets anytime. The easiest time is when your baby bird is weaning, but older birds can transition too—it just takes longer.

Are TOP’s pellets a complete meal?

TOP's pellets are a vital part of a complete diet but should be supplemented with vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds for variety. Feed as much as your bird will eat daily, discarding leftovers and offering fresh pellets each day.

Was TOP’s formula and pellet type developed by an Avian Vet?

Yes, TOP's pellets were created in 2003 by avian nutritionists, including Dr. Alicia McWatters. They are cold-pressed to preserve natural enzymes and nutrients, unlike most brands that bake their pellets, losing nutritional value.

How should I store the pellets after opening?

Store pellets in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate due to moisture. Reseal the bag after opening and use within 8-10 weeks. You can freeze the pellets to extend shelf life, but use them within six months after freezing.
