don't waste your money DOES NOT WORK

I bought this for my 1 year old 65 lb pup who seems to love to chew on shoes and toys that don't belong to her. Upon spraying my shoes with this, I noticed the really strong unpleasant scent. I also put the bottle up to my pup's nose for her to smell. She hated it and turned away which gave me a lot of hope. Within the next couple of hours she had begun chewing on the shoes that had been sprayed. I'm not sure if the spray is just not long lasting. I did spray my shoes enough that they were noticeably wet so I think I used enough. Over the next few days I sprayed my shoes each time after wearing them and she still chewed on them, luckily I caught her each time before she destroyed them. I'll keep looking for a product that actually deters her. I returned this product after a week or so of use.

I really wish this spray was more of a deterrent, but it’s not. I spray it on walls, under the couch lining, blankets, carpets and anywhere I don’t want her chewing. It takes a while to dry on some surfaces. She doesn’t seem to mind the bitter taste that much. It may have halted chewing briefly, but overall she still chews. With that being said it’s a good product, just wish it worked a little better. It doesn’t have a too offensive smell & it’s not messy.

It smells like pepper but our dogs don’t care they still chew the molding around my cupboards. That’s what I bought it for to get them to stop chewing the corner trim on my cabinets, but every time I catch them chewing, I spray more of it on there and deal with the smell of the pepper, hoping it will work, which it’s 50-50 that’s why I only gave it four stars.

It keeps our puppy away from shoes! It really works!

My dog didn’t think twice about chewing even after I sprayed it on the area, He smelled it, licked it and went back to chewing. This product did not deter my dog from chewing, he actually liked the taste. Sorry but I don’t recommend this product.

When we first ordered this product, it seemed like it was going to be more effective than our previous Anti-Chew/Lick product. My husband and I found it to be very "offensive". We check out everything we give her on ourselves 🤣🤣. The smell is awful and strong. The taste test drop was even worse!! It worked well for a few weeks, but then, evidently, Zoey (15mo, 82 lb. Golden Retriever puppy) developed a taste for it 😳😳 We're still trying to figure out the best product to prevent her incessant licking, and occasional chewing! 🙄🙄. Obviously, when a puppy her size misbehaves, there can be some NOTICEABLE damage left behind. But she really is a sweetheart 💗💗💗. We have purchased other Bodhi Dog products that were great, but just not for us this time.

This works great. No more chewing or even biting the couch. I don’t know if the spray is to praise but he doesn’t hump the pillow anymore either
