667 Simplex Card Scanner (DP667) with DocketSCAN Business Card

Arrived dead on arrival; Chat support diagnosed and replaced the Scanner. Scanner scans now, but the Software is unstable. I scanned in several hundred cards three times (even after running "repair") and it would crash intermittently. Chat support is excellent. It still doesn't work.

A very good value for the money. Device set up very easy (Plug & Play). Instructions about software setup could be better. I had to involve tech support to get it just right. Support was excellent (via chat) and I was set up quickly. The reader works very well. Scan reviews and text tweaks are needed but this scanner gets it right over 90% of the time. Not bad considering that information placement on business cards is different from card to card. I recommend this scanner.

We use this product to scan insurance and ID cards into our EHR system at work and it works efficiently and interfaces well. The only thing I don’t like is that every time I scan, unless I select a preset, I have to reset the filters to scan. I will say that the tech support for this product is amazing and all the reps we have ever talked to are very friendly and patient when trying to figure out a problem!

This scanner was easy to set up and use. However, we use it in a busy medical office to scan cards and we only get one or two years before we need to replace it.

It's a great scanner but will not do what was advertised! It does not do OCR and input data into OUTLOOK!

Software is no longer available for this card scanner.

Setup was hassle free and works like a champ.

Understand you will have to edit each one before you hit enter but still better than having to enter it manually.
