Could you use this on new construction where your going to foam the roof 1 in thick.

I believe it can go on any roof but if you are using foam, I don't think you need a power vent. You may need replacement air but with foam there should not be any soffit vents. You need to check with your insulating contractor.

What material is the dome made out of?

Can a replacement fan blade be ordered? What are suitable substitutes?

This will answer by saying that I purchased the entire unit more than once just to replace the motor in my already attic mounted unit. I'm sure there are literally hundreds of fan blades and domes out there unused. Sad to say. Orudy1
