Useful for anyone!
I read that book when I was depressed during my pregnancy. In a very simple and elegant way it explains the causes and consequences of depression for both husband and wife. I like the book so much, that I took notes, and I never do that! It's easy and fast to read, and very-very helpful for partners of depressed women, as well as the women themselves.

Great book!
I think the bullet-point format is excellent for supportive partners who don't particularly want or need to dive too deep, but need simple guidelines on how to be helpful. I'm eager to see the updated edition which will have language that is inclusive of partners who are not husbands.

I was recommended this book by my postpartum therapist
I was recommended this book by my postpartum therapist. My husband said it would have been more helpful had he had it before I had PPD but it was nice to have some of our struggles normalized. I would recommend this for any pregnant mama that might be struggling. I forgot how hard it can be to be a partner of someone who is struggling.

Quick, simple read.
This book is a quick read written mostly as bulleted lists with suggestions for husbands. Most of what is here is intuitive and the book definitely assumes that the mother feels she is mothering poorly. My struggle with postpartum was not that I felt like I was a bad mother, but depression and anger in many other ways, so this book was not helpful to my situation.

Quick read
Very quick read, basic information. If you are looking for any thing of substance keep looking. If you are looking for beginning highlights, hopefully it isn't expensive.

I bought this book for my husband to help him understand what I was going through with my post partum depression. It was good that everything was in nice bullet points.
