I've built an a/c out of a cooler and I'm using this pump to circulate ice-cold water through a computer cpu radiator/fan. It appears to be built well and operates quietly. It has enough water flow to cool down the inside of a small single engine airplane. It has lasted about a year now which is more than I say for other products I purchase. I believe this is a good value.

Pump was working fine but then stopped flowing so I connected it to a bench power supply to see if it was burned out. Saw that it was drawing only a few mA most of the time but once every few seconds it would draw something like 150mA. The reason was that something was blocking the impeller and the pump was sensing the over-current fault and retrying every few seconds. I then removed the four screws that hold the cover over the impeller, cleaned the blockage and re-assembled. The pump was then fine so the problem was that blockage. I am impressed that the pump has the intelligence to protect itself from over-current when blocked. I also like that the case can be opened to clean the impeller if needed.

Great little pumos for the price but quit working in less than a year. They are cheap enough that I just bought a other set to replace the dead ones.

Reasonable cost fountain pump

Worthless junk. I tested both pumps in the set, and neither one could pull water more than an inch out of a reservoir. Each pump had a "QC PASS" sticker, but these pumps don't have any quality to check. No redeeming qualities.

These are great for the price point. When they are working they move the expected amount of water. Pressure is proportionally weak, but that is a side effect of spending the available energy budget on flow/volume/mass. You would need to move less volume to get a higher pressure for the same watts, that's just physics. With a hose the same ID as the barb, I get about 2-4 feet of lift before back pressure causes it to stall, which is damn good for the flow rate and the sub 20 Watts honestly. The biggest con is they are bad about cavitation and priming. You have to be very particular about keeping the input loaded with only water. Even as small as a few CC's of air will cause stall/cavitation. The problem can be worked around easily if you have a level head on your shoulders. Basically, these are ideal for relatively high flow and reasonably closed loop applications. Liquid cooling PC's, fish/fountain pumps, etc. Not as great for situations where the input is getting exposed to air, or expected to start from an air locked state. Definitely not good for anything that relies on pressure to get the job done, e.g moving fluid against gravity, spray washing systems, etc. Haven't used them for anything other than fresh water, so I don't know what other liquids they could handle.

Quiet, pumps well. Picked up a 12V AC/DC wall wart from the bin at goodwill for 5$ to run it, soldered it on, runs great. Uses 1/4" ID hose. I bought it as a miniature sump pump for a problem corner on a patio, and it is driven by a water level sensor, this is where the wall wart plugs in.

Surprisingly durable. I am using these to pump water for my cabbing machine for lapidary work. The water frequently has small rock particles and such in it and the pump keeps working! I have had to clean the impeller once but it immediately started working again.

Pumpin up pumpin up pumpin up n pooom pin. That is what this pump does. submerged i hear nothing and it pumps water in my cooling system in a 3/8 pipe as expected. speed cannot be controlled by a dc speed controller. on off.

These pumps can run off Molex and work pretty good for PC water cooling.
