Whilst yet to use this in anger, my quick test proved it works a treat. I started looking in to this product after finding last winter that my portable jump starters small leads will not reach my Fiat Ducato's positive and negative terminals. being a new van i did not want to clip it to any peice of metal casue and issues with the battery and potentailly ruin its warranty. This started my research and found that jumping a battery like that can cause issues anyway, or at least its is not good for its long term health, especially AGM batteries. Hence this device. It fits the bill perfectly. May not jump start a battery, but should be good to start a flat battery after half an hour or so. This will do it in a much safer manor, and monitor the battery health as it goes. As for the product itself. It is so premium. Leads, clips and case you really are getting a quality prdouct for the purchase. I plan to use it look after my campervans battery in the winter, and hopefully revive the battery(if needed) with help from a power station whilst on my travels. I have attached photos to show my setup for anyone who may have found themselves in a similar situation, but the lead length is more than sufficent for the Fiat Ducato terminals.

brought my dead AGR battery back to life! superstar charger, my car had a 10v battery it was over £200 for a new one, so i thought i would try this first, absolutely great, took around 8 hours to bring it from 10v back to a healthy 12.7v, its quite a meaty lump of a thing, it comes with all the connections you could need, and it is small but very dense, nice and easy to use, just select battery type and go! well worth, even though it is a bit expensive i think in this case you get what you pay for

We have been having issues with both cars that we own over the last 6 months. During lockdown the cars were not nearly used as much as they were previously, therefore the batteries appear to have somewhat suffered! Modern cars now have a lot of extra electronics that are 'always on' and this provides a constant draw on the batteries. Both vehicles stop/start stopped working and my car kept flashing up low battery every time i turned off the ignition. As a result i decided to invest in a battery tester to see the state of health of each of the batteries. My partners car flagged up 'replace' with a health of only 11%, mine was 'Replace' with a health of 53%. When i researched prices of AGM and EFB batteries i was astonished to see how much they were. For two batteries this was going to cost me nearly £500. As a result i decided to see if i could revive them. Having spent a lot of time researching the best way to do this i came across the NOCO chargers. The 10amp one seemed to fit the bill for me. Whilst this was expensive the reviews were good and it included a repair mode - besides it was a lot cheaper than two new batteries! The NOCO Genuis 10 is a well built substantial device, even the battery clamps are very well made. Much better quality than my older 12v smart battery charger. Instructions were simple and easy to follow, although the print is super tiny so i did find it a little tough to read. I charged each battery to full which strangely only took a couple of hours. The LED charge status lights are simple, no percentages just a increasing bar graph which changes colour according to the SOC. When each battery hit the maximum the NOCO pulsed green. I then started the repair mode. This takes 4hrs. I then tested each of the batteries again with my computerised health tester - unfortunately this made zero difference to the heath of either battery. I kind of expected this on the EFB battery noting the health rating, however i was hopefully it would repair the AGM. On the smaller EFB battery the health had even decreased from 11% to 6% after the repair mode, the charge however had gone up significantly. It was clear that i needed to replace both of the car batteries. I feel it was worth a try though - shame it didn't work out for me. Would i recommend this device? It has glowing professional reviews, it is very well made and feels like a quality product. Yes you can get much cheaper chargers, however you really don't know what these are doing to your batteries. I am happy with my purchase and will use the charger to do top up maintenance charges on both cars periodically. One thing i would have liked on this device would have been a digital display to provide more information such as charge percentage and voltage etc, alas this only has basic LED lights which provide very limited information to the user. It you want to look after your expensive batteries, and are willing to invest some serious cash then i don't think you can go far wrong with the NOCO, just don't buy it solely for the repair mode as you may be disappointed with the results. Tried to charge a dead Optima Battery using a conventional lead/acid charger. Although it put around 50% charge in it took 24hrs. I had two batteries to charge so purchased the Noco 10 . Not only did it finish charging the first battery in 3hrs approx The second battery again totally discharged was revived fully within 14hrs. Great tool and well worth the money. Also with the maintain function when the batteries not in regular use I can use this unit to keep the batteries fully charged

This kit, a 10amp unit is supposedly very powerful and comes with a three year limited warranty - so far so good given that the range available starts at 1 amp and increases incrementally in power and price! The container, a high class cardboard box with impressive inner packaging and the unit is a solid one exuding quality! Again, so far so good! There is the standard Oriental booklet in several languages, mainly Oriental languages as far as I can tell, miniscule health warnings relative to basic common sense, keep it dry etc and other various admonishments - Now for the bad news, there are no instructions, at least not in English! On the unit there are sundry options relating to the type of battery that can be connected to it with a plethora of little lights but there is no advice as to what options are to be used and the whole situation is very unsatisfactory! It cost North of £75 and as I feel right now I am tempted to send the thing back!

I’ve found this charger to be one of the best I’ve used. When I connected it to my 90Am AGM battery, it charged it in about 80 minutes. If you’re looking to keep your AGM battery running longer, I’d suggest giving it a try.
