PocketWizardST4 Power Receiver for Elinchrom RX Flash Units (Black)

If you are buying this for the Ranger AS, you will need an adaptor. From my experience, the ST4 work just as well as the TT5 but it doesn't have the C1/C2 switch. So if you wanna have the option to switch between (power/reduced clipping) go for the TT5.

I purchased this unit to, hopefully, trigger my Elinchrom RX D-Lite (400-watt) strobe.Turns out I didn't need it, since the RX means that the trigger is built into the strobe.Very difficult to find information that would have advised me better.I viewed the video on their website, and thought I was making the right purchase.I wasn't. It's going back. Ugh.

My favorite for my ranger, conect and ready, dont need battery. hipersync 1/8000 is great on my ranger!!

It is hard to set up, but great using after it.But it is more useful if you get more than one.

I have been completely satisfied since I ordered my Pocketwizard ST4 Power Receiver for Elinchrom RX. I have been using it on my Elinchrom Ranger RX and could not be happier. I used to use a Pocketwizard Multimax attached to an Elinchrom sync to mini which would always flop around and be a pain trying to keep from swinging everywhere. This ST4 Power receiver makes life easy and compact shooting with my Ranger unit. You just need to have the Elinchrom Skyport adapter and you're ready to. I didn't even need to update the firmware but the Pocketwizard utility gives me the option to once another update comes out.Thanks Amazon for saving me a few dollars!

The PowerST4 works very well.When used with the AC3 (mounted on the camera) it provides very flexible control of the Elinchrom flash.I use it on their RX battery pack.Note: this set up enables control (resolution) over 1/3rd stops. Which is fine for outdoor use (ambient light varies anyway).The Dedicated Elinchrom wireless unit provides 1/10th stops which you may want in a studio set up.

I ordered this pocketwizard so that i can sync my elinchrom at 1/8000 speed... and it works like is should..Very pleased with my buy, and the overall service and shipping.

Ne convenait pas aux flash Elinchrom que je possède, j'ai donc renvoyé le matériel, non pas parce qu'il ne fonctionnait pas mais parce qu'il n'était pas adapté. Sinon excellente marque dont je possède d'autres émetteurs récepteurs.
