Works great, smooth, and no bleed through on the thinner Bible pages

First time I’ve seen Joe highlighters was in Korea in 2019 and I fell in love. I thought they were futuristic that I’ve never seen anything like that before and they were so amazing and there’s so much better than the ink highlighters because they don’t bleed, they don’t make the ink bleed and I was preparing for a court case last month and I just knew that if I started using an ink highlighter oh my black ink would just bleed so I started googling Korean gel highlighters and of course I couldn’t find any but I found these and while they are not as affordable as the Korean ones because the Korean ones were like a dollar this steel was a good purchase because they are the same high-quality the same color. It’s amazing. I love them. I’ll never go back to ink highlighters.

These are very good highlighters. They don't bleed at all. They are "soft" so you'll go through them rapidly. I would consider them 'like' a crayon. When you first highlight something and immediately feel the page it feels like you used a crayon on it. It quickly "dries" and idk, within 15 seconds it doesn't feel crayon-like. The one negative I have is the cap, though it 'clicks' closed when not in use which it great, when you are using the highlighter the cap doesn't secure itself on the other end. It fits, but doesn't secure on with a click. it just lays on the end. As a positive, if you did lose the cap, these wouldn't dry out, again, crayon-like,

I use the highlighters in a King James version bible that has small text. The highlighter is good, but the tip is soft and disintegrates quickly. In 4 months since I bought this 8 pack i've already gone through one highlighter. I also found it a little challenging to get precision with the highlighter, to mark the exact location of the scripture that I wanted to highlight, out often it marked above or below a line, and sometimes it went into the margin, which was a little frustrating, because i ended up with permanent highlighting marks in areas that i didn't want them. It does bleed through a little, so on the other side of the page you can see the marking through it faintly. There was also a little piece that fell off on the page and when i tried to wipe it up with my finger it smeared, making an ugly line at the top of the page.

These are very good. They are essentially crayons, with a wax-like feel, that are vibrant and do not bleed. You will get some bleed-thru on bible pages considering how thin the paper is, and you might be better off using a vibrant, neon colored pencil for your bible highlighting, but a regular book will have no bleed. Readability is top notch, and other reviewers have posted pictures with comparisons so go check those if you need more info. Minor gripes are that the tip dulls, kind of like a crayon does as you use it more and more, and it can be harder to pinpoint your highlighting as it gets used and the tip flattens out. They also don't last all that long, so you'll go through them quickly if you're doing a lot of highlighting.

I love Mr Pen Bible Highlighters. I've been ordering this brand only for years. They work perfectly and if you accidently leave the cap off, the pen is not ruined, you just peel back the wax. Also another plus, they always send you a mustache sticker. I love stickers and I now have mustaches on a lot of my notebooks.
