Excellent details, relevant for those wishing to know the details of what to do, snd how to do it, as well as some of the history of acolytes in the traditional teaching of the Church.

Essential for anyone wanting to get involved with this wonderful ministry of serving during the mass and other liturgical services. Although it's not the guide for training the acolyte, it does provide the trainer with what areas need to be covered. A must have for the church library.

Excellent resource for any church. I was having difficulty finding one locally and Amazon came through! I use this a lot and have recommended this book to many others.

Another of my great go to book for people actively involved in the service. Though I think I would have done it asa graphic / anime style.

It would be very helpful to potential purchasers to inform them if the book is for Roman Catholics, Anglicans, or other denominations.Some of the instructions are not quite clear. For example: "If there are two candles on the altar, the one on your right as you face the altar is lighted first..." That's fine if the altar is against the wall of the church, but what if the altar is placed so the celebrant faces the congregation during the service?Overall, the author has done a nice job, but the book needs more work.
