My 12 year old twin grandsons are always grabbing a piece of paper to make airplanes out of it. I thought this would be pretty cool for them to follow and learn different folding techniques... I'm sure they'll love it.

I brought this to my after-school program because one of the kids LOVES paper airplanes and I thought this would be a good reward. Well, now I have a whole group of kids (mainly boys) who want to learn or ask me to fold planes for them. This is a great starter and I’ve had quite a few kids ask their parents to buy them this book. The instructions a pretty clear. Sometimes paper folding can be confusing, but if you take the time to understand the symbols in the directions at the beginning of the book it’s pretty easy. The front cover of the book is heavy and durable. The back of the book is cardboard and has an inner sleeve to store paper! It comes with some nice quality, patterned paper that is easy to fold. Some of the more intricate plans with lots of folds may need help from an adult, but for the most part kids can do this on their own. If you are looking for a great starter book this is a great deal! It’s got everything you need to get started and is durable enough to last a long time.

I remembered this book from when I was a kid and was so happy it was still available new. I haven't gotten it yet, but I already know from past experience it's a 5 Star book.

Our 8 year old grandson spent hours making these airplanes. He needed help at first, but quickly was able to work on his own. He loved sailing them off our balcony to his Deda (Grandfather) below.

My eight year old grandson has enjoyed many hours making and testing the different airplanes. The instructions are well written with step by step drawings. The kit comes with beautifully designed paper in a variety of colors and prints. This is a great gift for a child who likes to build things like Lego and can follow written directions. Some designs are easier to make than others, and so I think he will continue to enjoy when he visits. I think older kids will enjoy too! It helps to have space to launch them.

Kids love them. Gave one away as a birthday present and gave one to a son, both are still making plans weeks later.

Impressive - my grandchildren absolutely love this kit. It's rare to find a toy that is not made of plastic and provides hours of fun, satisfaction and intellectual stimulation. Their father loves it as much as the kids. A real winner.
