l bought a pair last year, Sadly they don't have a zip or velcro on the pair l have. l would go as far as to say as you have wound on your leg they may not be the best boot for your needs. As you may need to think of them rubbing the area

Higher than usual like a cowboy boot heel. The reason bikers boots like this have a higher heel is to hook on to bikes footrests and because bike trousers are slightly longer cut per size because they are designed not to ride up too far when your knee is bent, so the higher heels stop your bike jeans dragging along the floor. Good boots for the price
