Excellent book on soul plans
Another book that was highly recommended to me. I began reading as soon as I received it and read it in one sitting. It was incredibly insightful in answering so many questions I have in my quest to learn about death, souls, reincarnation and the like, since losing my son 6 months ago. This was a very good book and one I plan to keep for reference.

I am a beliver in what this book has to teach. It opens your mind to the possibilities
This is an excellent book that introduces new thinking behind the things that happen in our lives. I had visions of a little girl that I would have someday every since high school. When I had cancer at 27 and was told that I would never be able to have children, I still had visions of this little girl. I kept getting the name Sara, as though that would be her name. However, the years passes and I had not found her. But when I turned 50 a felt an overwhelming need to go back to the place I was raised. I kept felling like there was someone very important I would miss if I didn't go back and I knew that it would be very bad for that person if I wasn't there. It was as if we had an appointment to meet. After I moved back home I started feeling the need to be a foster parent. I did relief care for a one year old. The minute I opened the door and saw her I knew that was her. She seemed to know me too. When my mother came over and saw her they immediately bonded too. My mother said, with a big smile on her face, why you got the child that I always thought I would have. Look at her she knows me. Both had big smiles on there faces. Due to neglect it that foster home she was placed with me at thirteen months old. At two and half she asked me why her name wasn't Sara. She said she thought her name was sunspot to be Sara. I now know God was telling me that he would send her to me but she would come in my old age like Sara in the Bible. Reading this book just confirmed things I has felt and suspected before and I am glad to know that I am not the only one who has had similar experiences. I believe that God can do many things through our dreams and our guides can help up end up where we are meant to be if we listen to our dreams, our feelings and our sixth sense. I pray and hope that he guides me to be the best parent I can be to her and that I set her on the right path to find her purpose in life. Although, I am not an avid reader, I did see that book on amazon and was intrigued. To add even more amazement to my story; I am a CPA and received an e-mail from someone who was moving to my area and was referred to me through a mutual friend. When his information was dropped off to me I sat dawn with the person who brought it to me and started asking questions about what he did and if he ever did regression hypnosis. The answer was yes and he has written several books about his research. They then showed me a picture of the cover of his book and I was amazed that I had read it, really enjoyed it and felt like it had confirmed things that had happened in my life. Just before I met the author I got DNA results back on my adopted daughter and found out she is a decedent of my great grand mother's uncle. What are the chances that a family four generations back that, lived in eastern Kentucky, would find their way to Ohio and settle within 10 miles of each other. Her mother was only 15 when she was born and just couldn't take care of her. We didn't know each other and yet her child was placed with me to adopt. What are the odds of the author of one of maybe 2 books I have read in the last year contacting me to do his work. I do believe that we do plan our lives and that things happen for a reason. Why did I have cancer and not be able to have children? Maybe because God wanted to be sure that I would go looking for the child he meant me to have when she came into the world. Had I had my own I wouldn't have been looking for her and If I hadn't gotten her I think her outcome would have been very different that what it is going to be now.

Mindblowing, thank you Mr Schwartz, I love you!
Just mindblowing. I loved it. Finished this book last night and will read it again and again. I wanted to re-start it straight away. Be warned though, it challenges you to think completely differently and I''m struggling with it at times (in regard to some people's behaviour). I read in Conversations with God "imagine everything you thought was wrong was right and everything you thought was right was wrong"". I didn't understand what that statement meant at the time but I do now from reading Mr Schwartz's book. The penny literally dropped for me while reading this book. An example, for me, of how it can give you a measure of peace (at last!). 15 years ago a friend of mine (who I worked with) and her husband tried to have me sent to Jail, alleging I stole some money from the office tea fund. It went nowhere, but made my life hell for a year, my hair fell out and I had to leave a job I was good at and loved. I thought it was the end of my world. As a consequence of their actions, I ended up for the last 14 years working for a team that I truly love, the people and the work. I have the best boss in the world. I feel loved and valued. I saw this man last night, as I do a couple of nights a week at the local club. Things aren't particularly warm between us, he because I think he feels some guilt and me because I feel he is an untrustworthy person, but we always say hello to each other. It turns out that my former friend, his wife, was still having relations with her ex-husband all through their 20 year marriage, they divorced and she took him to the cleaners. This gave me no joy to hear this, I'm not a vengeful person. When I saw him last night, I smiled brilliantly at him and warmly said hello, and I meant it. He mumbled hello and looked down at the ground. I felt like throwing my arms around him and thanking him from the bottom of my heart for his and his ex-wife's actions towards me. Look what I got out of it! I knew he'd think I was a nutbag if I did, but the amount of peace, love and gratefulness I felt towards him was unbelievable. One festering sore that re-opened every time I saw him has now healed. A win/win for me. Now to the ex-husband!

Fascinating!
I found this book to be quite comforting in the information that it shared regarding us choosing our life circumstances and family/friends. It helps me to know that this life on earth is temporary and we are here to advance our souls, to grow, to master compassion and to give and receive love. I find comfort in knowing that at our essence all souls are pure love. I better understand how and why some people choose to be murderers or rapists. I do feel like a lot of it is simplified as it focuses on tame and plausible topics - like how someone may choose to be chronically ill or handicapped for example - or why they may choose to be the parent of a child that dies too young. It is also based on souls in the US only. I still do not understand, based on the extreme horrors and suffering that go on all over the world, especially with children and animals, how someone could or would need to choose such horrors. Nothing is ever explained about animal souls - dogs, cats for example - do they choose their lives too? I did appreciate the contacts to all of the mediums and psychics and subjects in the book and have begun researching and following a few. I did find the book to create many more questions for me however, and I do look forward to reading the authors other books.

For me, the most healing book I have read.
What can I say in description of a book that has had more healing impact in my life than any I have read in a lifetime of 62 years? As a lifetime professional counselor, I have read and studied many books focused on the prospect of healing, but Robert Schwartz's Your Soul's Plan brought the events of my life more into focus than any I have read. I say this, not only as a healer, but also as a Vietnam Veteran, ex-helicopter ambulance pilot with a lifetime of challenge to overcome my own legacy of suffering. Arranged in a series of case histories, tied together by the theme that there is an overarching life plan, planned pre-birth at a soul-level, we are made aware of how our own lives can fit the pattern he describes. With almost a hundred reviews here, I'll not go into repetition of the details so well described already. There are some things I would like to add. For those of a skeptical scientific or conventional religious bent, the gentle narrative approach of Schwartz's writing will help you explore ideas that may seem unfamiliar or threatening to you. The consistencies in his discoveries that support his theme are particularly interesting. In my line of work, we might say that - while this may not be "good science" at this point, his discoveries have clinical validity when explored at the level he follows. My own life experiences and observations allow me to be open to the validity of psychic investigation, when it is genuine. Schwartz seems to have put together a good team of psychics to pursue his study. Obviously, it is difficult to establish validation, except on a personal level - but each of us ultimately can only establish truth on a personal level. Consensus and belief about truth can only take us so far. What I find fascinating is how Schwartz is able to attain consistencies in details about each case he studies, when going from one psychic to another, without communication between the psychics. When one psychic reading of a person corroborates another of the same person, often elaborating or picking up where the other left off, even a skeptic would be hard-put to deny the significance! Such consistency in detail cannot just be made up! Beyond the attribution of clinical validity, where the person recognizes the healing/illuminating effect in his/her life, we now begin to approach the groundwork for scientific study. Most of all, though, is the warmth and gentle compassion that Schwartz brings through in his work - done in a way that opens the reader to one of the most powerful insights we could have: that a Higher Power endlessly works through us, in total love and compassion, with an endless agenda to help us grow through the endless adventure we call life. Beyond being helpless victims of fate, we need only take responsibility for finding meaning in our experiences and for our endless God-given potential. Life altering in a great way
Initially I got a Spanish version of this book but it was digital. I read it and refused I needed a physical copy so i ordered the one in English since it’s easier (bilingual problems). I have dealt with resentment my entire life towards anyone who would cause me harm physically or mentally. I struggle with forgiveness I didn’t grow up with it so it’s something really hard to get a grasp of for me. This book gave me perspective, allowed me to forgive and understand what I have gone through and why I struggle today. The good thing is, it is not a religious book. It is spiritual. Meaning there is no guilt, shame or alianation. There is no fear either. It promotes love h the healthy kind) and self evaluation and retrospection. It also allowed me to see when I was not kind and how it was part of my growth too. I recommend this book. It is life changing. Especially if you have to deal with physical illness, parenting handicapped children, deafness and blindness, drug addiction and alcoholism, death of a loved one and accidents (resulting in drastic change in quality of life.

The role of hardship in teaching lessons of great value
Robert Schwartz has done a thorough job illustrating the value of hardship in improving the character of both our temporary and more permanent self.. He documents the lessons learned by those who have suffered through severe physical illness, those who have parented severely handicapped children, those who have suffered drug addiction, the grief stricken, those who have suffered debilitating accidents. These are not the mundane lessons about how to fight depression or use a wheel chair or find a rewarding job despite handicaps. These are the lessons of a deeper, more lasting nature: developing a greater capacity to love, to emphathize with others, to have faith, patience, compassion. I emphasize this aspect of the book because it offers a lot even to those who might be skeptical of concepts such as a soul's pre-planning a life or even the notion of reincarnation itself. This book encourages everyone to learn these lessons that hardship offers, regardless of their religious or spiritual beliefs. I personally found great comfort in reading of the possibility that my loved one who has recently passed might have embraced the suffering that we both endured during a long-term illness. She might have even intended this suffering as a way of teaching us compassion and love. I hope and pray that is so. But even if it isn't, it is irrefutably the case that I learned a depth of love, empathy, and commitment that I do not think I could have learned any other way. That is to my benefit, to hers, and to everyone else's whose lives we touch now and forever. Do not let the hardships of life go to waste by neglecting to learn the larger lessons that life has to offer, no matter what the case may be regarding the afterlife. Reading this book will help you do that. For that reason, I sincerely hope that no one will let their personal beliefs regarding matters of religion stand in the way of learning these lessons that depend upon nothing more than our paying attention to them as they occur. i thank Robert Schwartz for doing such an excellent job and most sincerely recommend this book to everyone, because there is no one who does not suffer. Do not waste your suffering on mere suffering.

What if it were true?
This has been one of the most revolutionizing books I have read in a long time. There is no way to know objective whether any of this is tue, the pre-birth planning. But even if it isn't supposed I acted like it was, namely, that I planned my life and my difficulties were to teach me and/or remind me about my divinity. How would I then conduct my life? Would I be angry with those who have done me harm? Would I be angry with or withdraw from the world for all the misery, violence, and injustice it appears to contain? How would I regard those around, my enemies who are probably in fact my teachers. I have some quibbles with the book. For instance, why must the author tell the medium the details of the circumstance surrounding the person in question? Christina is the victim of a bomb attack but can't the medium pick up this without being told all the details? This happens I believe in every case. The other problem I have is that everything seems to be explainable. There's a reason for everything tied back to pre-birth planning. In mythological Greek times everything was explained by the gods behavior. In this book, even a rabbit running across the road, an apparent coincidence, has its reasons. It's almost as if spirits from the other side are intervening so often that one wonders where does free will come in on this side and what's then the point. I'm not the one to say that a theory which explains everything explains little or nothing. Yet this one aspect of the book bothers me. Sometimes Plan A does not work and one must fallback to Plan B. Yet these things aside, there is something profound being communicated here that just might be true. It has definitely given me some things to think about. The quote from the book, near the end, says it all for me: "We would ask those of you who find yourself thinking judgmental thoughts about the perpetrators of what you see as harm to know that there is always a positive outcome served misery. We would say to you that misery is the illusion."

Highly recommended
I am not the one to sit down take my time out to write reviews. But this book is one of a kind. It gave me goosebumps. It came to me just after a day of my grandfather s passing and I started reading it around 20 days later. Every sentence made me feel overwhelmed. It gave me answers to my most persistent questions. A sense of relief and blessings washed over me. There are no words in any language to articulate my exact feelings. I am writing this so that nobody misses an opportunity to read this book. If you have read Eckhart s books then this book would be a good read.

Embalagem: Ok!

Life Changing Outlook of our Souls
Robert Schwartz' book 'Your Soul's Plan' in which with the the help of Mediums he communicates with persons souls to discuss how their lives had come to experience great hardships and challenges, is remarkable. The astonishing outlook they offer is that the souls themselves, in agreement with those of the key participants in their ensuing earth lives, have chosen and agreed to support each other with the difficulties they experience such as blindness, illness and death. In the conrtext of our souls being infinite in nature, the experiences and cost of our brief human lives is not so insurmountable in nature against the lessons they may learn during each life, this view is acceptable if the soul has so chosen. I feel a great affinity with this book because it empowers the souls who otherwise may appear to be victims blighted by lifes cruelties - Instead they are presented as souls persuing by agreement with their companion souls such as myself the challenges of lifes hardships and death as a method of soul learning to develop greater compassion and love for all beings. ''Earth primarily serves the function of teaching you to let go of fear and (to) love unconditionally'' Spirit Guide as channeled by the Medium Staci Wells. In such a remarkable universe that we exist within, this view presents a wider outlook of an intrinsically loving Creator who supports us in co-creating our own paths of spiritual evolution.
