U.S. Military's Dog Training Handbook: Official Guide for Training Military Working Dogs

This isn't a pleasure read. It's straight forward and concise. Helped me correct a couple of things I was doing wrong. I was surprised in the way it breaks down the psychological aspects of dogs' reactions. It even has methods for correcting fear of noises. Very good IMHO.

Giving a 5 star rating... the info is great and works well, though I felt the 1st Chapter involving medical needs and evaluating the dog could be split up. The Chapter on evaluating a good dog is great, checking the body, teeth and ears as well as field testing before even taking on training is a MUST.As I said. First Aid Kit making and emerhency care could become Chapter 11, towards the back. A field kit, as well as a smaller car kit could be shown as well as Emergency care.
