ESET NOD32 ANTIVIRUS V.5 1 USER (WIN MENTCE2000XPVISTAWIN 7)

I have been using ESET for a few years and just got this latest update. It's easy to install and the product has worked well over the years. The packaged arrived sooner than quoted and arrived in perfect condition. I would use this product again and the same Vendor again too.

I tried Several Anti-Virus Programs and This has been The Best so far..I Hate Windows 7, but it's what I have for Now . It's just not Compatible with too Many Programs..But if you are Running Win. 7..I Recommend This along with Firefox as your Browser..Had to give up on my Long Term Buddy..Spybot S&D..just won't work together...

The best reason to select ESET NOD32 is simply that it does not consume as much RAM on your computer as competitors', meaaning it won't bring your computer down to a crawl. This is important to all serious users. I gave a 4* instead of a 5* only because of the directions. You must first do an uninstall of your previous anti-virus software. If your AV software is ESET NOD32, you MUST uninstall the program through Start - Programs - ESET - uninstall. Should you delete the program through the Control Panel, not all of the program will uninstall. Then, you must download the uninstall program off the ESET website, uninstall the old ESET NOD32 and then install this package. This is not mentioned in the install directions, at least not the ones I received. I learned of this by calling ESET's helpline.

This product is set up in such a way that once you have installed it, it is incredibly difficult to remove. First off, I should say that the product, while it does it's job, is not equal to other antivirus products. Secondly, the new purchase price is $40, but to renew is $80. When it comes time to renew, it has popups every half hour that will sometimes kick you out of a full screen program. It is not possible to turn the popups off. It is not possible to turn the program off. It is not possible to remove the program via the control panel, nor does it allow you to delete the files containing Eset. The only way to remove the program is to download the uninstaller from the Eset website, restart your computer in safe mode, run the uninstaller (at which point your computer warns you that this program may seriously harm your computer), go through several steps using the command prompt, and restart your computer again. Furthermore, using the uninstaller will change your network settings, requiring you to set up your network again from scratch. Do not buy this terrible product.

ESET antivirus product worked ok. no service phone listed so I used the phone number from last year. Product should include a toll free support number.

Replaced all the 'free' ones from ACER and Microsoft. Fast and effective. Frequent up dates are great and the installation was some.

Been using ESET NOD32 Antivirus for 3+ years and have been satisfied with it. It does exactly what it claims and have not had any problems with it to date.

This anti-virus software costs less, works great and does not slow down your computer so much. I have it on a pc and laptop and both do great!
