This type of washing line is ridiculously convenient and means that you can transform small spaces that are in your house into drying areas and pack it away as if it wasn't there giving you the space back within seconds.It's designed as a small box which has the cable on a spring load inside of that box then when you pull out the cable it follows through and stays taught until you hook it into a purpose made cook on the opposite side of the room then lock the knob on the main box and that creates a very sturdy and strong cable for hanging up you're washing on.Just a few things to keep in mind is the fact that you do need to lock the cable otherwise it will sag as you put on more clothing and also that you need to remember to unscrew that in order to return it otherwise the cable would just drop to the floor and stay out instead of contracting but as other than that it's a really simple easy to use item very convenient.

Just fitted this today, I was a carpenter so fitting it was no problem but the instructions are typical of non UK products, amusing at least, common sense should allow easy installation but remember the line is not central to the unit itself in either direction.Do not expect the line to be taut, there is no adjustment and whilst the locking mechanism seems to lock and hold it actually slackens the line very slightly when applied.I only bought it for hanging a few shirts on shirt hangers so it will be fine for that.

Nice clean & modern looking device. Very strong line with built-in lock. The only criticism is that the line is hard to release from the clip when extended so you need something like a key fob otherwise you may break your nails like my wife!

Bought this as thought great idea and looked fairly solid eg case and line. When arrived it is fairly solid and looks good quality, however it wouldn't retract and the mechanism appeared flimsy. So returned...

Just needed something unobtrusive to put up for lightweight items & drying out wet raincoats. This was easy to install & is perfect for our needs.

The media could not be loaded.  So far, it is as described and i have fitted the parts to 2 walls. No idea an order of plastic items that will stop the wire hooks of plastic coathangers from sliding everything to the centre...a pssibility plastic hooks now purchased

Ho recentemente installato la Stendibiancheria retrattile tra due travi della tettoia nel mio giardino e devo dire che è stata una scelta eccezionale! Ho scelto l'installazione a vite e perforazione libera, utilizzando sia la colla fornita che le viti di montaggio. Questo mi ha permesso di installare la linea di asciugatura su una parete liscia e una parete irregolare senza problemi.La qualità dei materiali è evidente sin dal primo sguardo. La stendibiancheria è realizzata in materiale ABS di alta qualità, mentre la base ha una robusta staffa in alluminio e la corda è in acciaio inossidabile 304 con 49 fili intrecciati. Système de corde à linge réglable jusqu'à 4m20.Le boîtier contenant le système de corde semble solide. Ce qui est intéressant, c'est la plaque de fixation du boîtier : 4 chevilles pour la fixer, rien que ça. Idem pour la petite plaque d''accrochage de la corde. 8 chevilles en tout pour que ça tienne : ils n'ont pas lésiné sur la fixation (chevilles crantées diamètre 6 ... grand luxe)Quand on pense qu'il y a des systèmes de 5 cordes à linge avec seulement 4 chevilles, ça fait marrer.Sinon, si on a les moyens et qu'on veut s'amuser, on peut en mettre plusieurs côte à cote. Il faudra simplement espacer les plaques de 2 CMS précisément au minimum et mettre les boitiers sur leurs plaques en même temps (faire les 3 gestes pour les accrocher comme indiqué dans la notice).

Me encanta. Quería un tenderete para secar la ropa dentro de casa y los convencionales no me cuadraban porque son: caros, un armatoste, tienes que hacer 100 dobleces a las sábanas para que no te arrastren y la longitud de las varillas es demasiado corta, no dan para nada. De esta forma, por el mismo precio, tengo un tenderete de pared a pared, 4m lineales que son gloria bendita. El cable es de acero recubierto (nada de nylon) y retráctil, fácil instalación, viene con todos sus tornillos y tacos (incluyen un pegamento para quien no quiera hacer agujeros en la pared), ultra pequeño (no impacta visualmente), resistente... Lo recomiendo totalmente.
