Got this as a gift for my boyfriend. The backside has an uploaded image. Image was nicely done. The side with the text is not what I was expecting. In reading reviews and answers from the seller, the product is falsely advertised as having “engraved text”. I knew the image would not be engraved or etched. However I thought the words on the backside would be engraved. They are NOT ENGRAVED. Instead it is more like printed vinyl decal? With a thin coat of lacquer? Those are just guesses. I’m not sure. Either way, the thin coat of clear on top of the image and text makes the product seem more durable, it will not easily rub off or scratch. My boyfriend likes to shower with his necklace so we will need to see how it holds up! Additionally the chain it comes with seemed to be sturdy. Overall good product, not what I was expecting though….I’m just glad he loved it!
