Tokina ATX-i 11-16MM CF F/2.8 Nikon

You can read reviews and opinions all day and not exhaust all the good things people write about this lens. Is there better glass? Sure, but not anywhere near this price point. I did a lot of research before making my purchase and am very pleased. Any image differences between this lens and a Nikon costing 2X as much are negligible. If you have to have the very best, shop Nikon, but if you want a great value and outstanding photo quality this lens can't be beat.

Great lens for night sky photography.

This review is for 1 month period since I brought the lenses. Likes - sturdy, auto focus is crisp, image stabilization is also very good, tried long exposures on tripod and has comparable clarity with Nikkor lenses.Dislikes - Focus latch is little rough and takes more force.Overall I liked the lense considering value for money. Landscape photos were amazing during the day, yet to try night photography though.

Great lens and price. I wanted a wide angle lens that was fast as 2.8 certainly delivers. A very solid build.

I planned on getting the older model, the tried and true AT-X116 Pro DX II. But after reading about this one, it sounded great and I took a chance on it (new models of almost any product in their first year can have bugs that need to be worked out). However, so far, so good, and I have nothing but praise for this lens. Although the zoom range is more limited, this lens at its widest end is sharper and brighter in the corners than my older S***a 10-20mm (and that's what I was looking for).

Use it on my D7500, and I love it. Great IQ and remarkably responsive. Can’t say enough about it! Great lens!

Works good. Just need to zoom in a bit otherwise it shows a round black vignette on the corners.
