Works, with caveats
BLUF: This product WORKS, but it's not magic. As others have mentioned, application is key. Methods vary, but you must clena your screen with alcohol first, apply and let it sit, and repeat several times. If you do it right, this product WILL restore your screen's oleophobic qualities. The screen will feel slippery smooth, and resistant to fingerprints. The result is not quite as good as the brand-new screen on a high-end phone with premium glass coatings, but it's close. The smooth feeling is very pleasant to use. It does seem to attract a little more dust than a factory new screen, but it's not significant. Overall, a good product that I will happily buy again when needed.

It does its job, but not the way I'd like it to.
My tablet screen was scratched and no longer oleophobic; my S pen also scratches against the defect and makes it hard to write on. I decided to try this out and was pleased to see the oleophobicity coming back a bit. However, the screen still felt rough after 10x application over the course of a whole day. The Japanese instructions actually tells you to apply 3-4 times at once and leave overnight. It definitely serves the designed purpose but in my case it isn't quite helpful. Time to get a proper screen shield.

Exactly as advertised!
Update 12-11-2019: It's still exactly as advertised. I don't know why others are having bad results, but maybe they're not applying it correctly. It still feels just as smooth as the day I finished all of the applications of it, and I'm still not getting fingerprints under the same conditions that I used to get fingerprints before applying this. Update on 10/3/2019: Still exactly as advertised! I love this stuff. I put on 4 applications so far just because I decided I'm going to use up the whole bottle so that I don't have to worry about losing this tiny little bottle. I think I have enough left for a 5th application, plus maybe a few extra drops. I could've stopped at 3. This stuff works extremely well. iPhone 6s here. I don't use screen protectors. So this is a review of how well this works directly on the iPhone's glass display. As per instructions from other reviewers and even Crystal Armor, I cleaned the glass, I evenly applied several drops, I used a squeegee to spread it evenly (which worked beautifully), and then I did it 2 more times. Then I let it sit for 8 hours and I wiped it clean with a facial tissue. Now my iPhone 6s's display feels extra, extra, extra slippery. The difference is huge. I love it! Dare I say, I think it's better than when it was new.. I still plan to do this 2 more times because Crystal Armor recommends it (in fact, I'm in the middle of the 8-hour waiting period now), but I'm already so impressed after that 1st coat that I had to leave this review! I will update this if I ever feel that this oleophobic coating didn't last a reasonable amount of time. I expect it to last at least 6 months.

Weird product to try and review - Here goes nothin'
So first things first, I have a galaxy note 9 that has a very easily scratched screen. Within 1 week of ownership (and me babying it) it got about 8 small scrapes somehow. (I've had a galaxy s4 for like 6 years and it has 0 scrapes or scratches) So I looked into screen protectors and went with the dome one, major fail on the installation, sticking with stock screen instead but of course the alcohol wipes got rid of the original coating of oleophobic whatever. So that leads to fusso. The original coating left zero, absolutely ZERO streaks. Fusso on the other hand is just as bad as no coating whatsoever. However it does make the screen more slippery. Translating the text on the bottle using an app indeed reads "water and oil repellent coat" but judging from the streaks its nothing like stock. It's really a shame that we cant just buy the original coating again. Also reads "fluorine containing solvents and fluorinated compounds 0" I do not read japanese. I was using an app. Dont quote me. I've put on a thick first coat using about half the bottle. let it sit over 8 or 9 hours. No excess cause it evaporates within seconds. (dont do this with a fan on) still have half the bottle. Will keep doing layer after layer until the bottle is empty and if the results change ill update the review but so far i am not at all impressed. Specially for 16 or 17 dollars all ya get is a 3ml bottle.... Starting to think rainx is a better solution. Good Luck All!

not so sure this works as you think it would ...
I did a lot of reading and video watching before purchasing this to make sure i would know how to apply this once I bought it. It is very easy to apply. I used the plastic wrapper from the cloth to spread this evenly. you have to work quickly as it evaporates fast. it appears smudgy at first but once dry, you wipe it lightly to a shine with the cloth. I then let my phone sit all night. I used the phone the next morning and found it slippery to the touch but after an hour or so, it was evident the missing spot was still there. I followed the procedure exactly the 2nd night and woke to the same results. .. and again the 3rd night. I was mindful to apply a decent amount each time. Personally ? I think this works well as a lubricant but as a "layer building" replacement to the original oleophobic coating, I am not sold on it. I have a little over 1/2 the bottle remaining. I will try it again and again. If I find results that improve on this review, I will update this review.

It works and LASTS. You just have to invest the time to do it right.
Works exactly as described. I had a worn spot on my iPad where the factory coating had worn down, and the glass was no longer smooth to the touch. I applied this stuff right before I went to bed, putting a few drops at a time and spreading it with a Q-Tip. I dripped and spread the fluid 3 or four times in the worn spot each night, for three nights in a row. When I was done with that process, the worn spot was completely gone and the entire screen felt factory smooth. It's now over three months since I applied the coating and I'm only just now starting to notice very very slight wearing in that same spot where I scroll a lot for hours a day. The key to my success was to use the liquid generously several times each night FOR THREE NIGHTS IN A ROW. If you do this the coating works very well. I think anyone who gives this stuff less than five stars didn't invest the time to put multiple layers on over a few days, or didn't let it harden overnight before touching it. I did it correctly and it worked way better than I expected it to. AND IT LASTS: (This part added months later) Doing this correctly made the coating last for over 8 months! I did this back in February. It's now October and I'll be fixing that same worn area this weekend. I have used this iPad heavily for multiple hours every day since then, and even 8 months after applying the coating for the first time the new worn spot is not as bad as it was the first time. This stuff doesn't last just days or weeks like other people are saying, it lasts MONTHS if you do it correctly the first time.

helps - but doesn't cure all - only lasts a couple weeks
got this for my 1 year old Samsung S23 Ultra that was showing signs of thumb wear in 1 spot. applied the whole bottle over the course of 3-4 nights. put on before bed each night to let rest and cure for 8 hourse each night. it did seem to help a bit where that wear pattern was. did nothing for the other scratches on the screen. overall - not disappointed - just don't buy it thinking it is going to make your phone screen new. expect little going in - and then you will be satisfied coming out. only other real option on this phone with curved sides is a screen replacement - as protectors aren't feasible . UPDATE: 2-3 weeks later - completely gone by this point - waste of around $15.

Excellent product. INSTRUCTIONS HERE
Works very well so far, I have a third party replacement screen on my iPad that collects fingerprints like there's no tomorrow. This product made it feel like a new screen. The directions are in Japanese, and the YouTube videos showing how to apply it are incorrect. Here are the translated instructions straight from the box- How to use Wipe off the dirt on the tempered glass surface well with the included cleaning cloth before use. โก Reinforce Fusso SmartPhone Apply 10 to 15 drops to the glass surface of the smartphone and quickly spread it thinly with tissue or vinyl. (As the liquid absorbs moisture, please extend it with a small amount of tissue or a piece of plastic bag that does not absorb moisture etc.) โข Repeat the work (2) 2 or 3 times as it will dry immediately . It takes 8 to 12 hours for fluorine to bond with the glass at the molecular level. It is desirable to leave it for about 12 hours from the coating time. * In the winter, as the temperature is low, please take longer leave time. In other words, use a piece of plastic to spread it, NOT A CLOTH. Let it set overnight and wipe off in the morning. The longer you let it set, the better. Follow this and you'll be rewarded with a smooth as silk screen that repels fingerprints. Thank you for reading.
