Three years + and working great
I used a high pressure "pro" gun in the past with a huge compressor and many $$$. Nothing has sprayed any better than this HVLP gun at a fraction of the cost. Now I have a 28gal compressor and spray 25-30lbs. I've used both the 1.4 and 1.7 nozzles on water and oil based paints and top coats for about three years now. Beautiful finishes. I've switched pretty much to water based material. Just finished spraying MinWax polycyclic (see photo) with 1.4 nozzle with almost no thinning. Maybe could spray without thinning at all but I'm hesitant to mess with something that's working. Looks like hell when you spray it, dries to mirror smooth finish. Strain the paint every time. Use distilled water to thin (if at all). Pour in an ounce or two of isopropyl alcohol and spray it out to clean. No need to take it apart all the time. Maybe every half dozen times I take it apart to add a couple drops of oil to the needle bushing and that's about it. Water base really speeds things up. This is an excellent deal, a “no brainer” I would say.

100% recommend
Great paint gun, easy to clean, super smooth finish. THE “1/4 in. NPT IM Brass Female Plug” IS NOT INCLUDED.

Worked great right out of the box
I received this yesterday and started painting with it within the hour. The first comment i need to make is about the lid, THE LID ON MY UNIT IS TIGHT AND DOES NOT FALL OFF. Maybe they saw the comments and fixed the issue others have had. i was using the 2.5mm nozzle and found there were no leaks at all. I tested with water first and then switched to a heavy Behr Premium Latex paint and primer in 1. The first batch of paint i used floetrol and water to thin it out and it sprayed just fine. after i drained that first container i started putting paint with no water or floetrol and the gun still worked fine. I have a 60 gallon air tank with a 3.5 hp pump, it has two air/water seperator filters in line and i set my line regulator to 55 PSI which it holds even under load. I did not use the supplied regulator at all since i have a much better regulator on my drop line. I use high flow quick connects too so no restriction at the connection point. I could spray non stop without running out of air and the gun never stopped longer than refilling for 3 hours. Cleaning was really easy, i just ran water through the sprayer and rubbed all the splatter off the outside with copious amounts of water. i also disassembled the gun and brushed out the inside as well. Just remember when assembling the gun, you dont need to torque it down hard, you will have to dissasemble between jobs anyway so just snug it down and move on. Dont make more work for yourself. The only reason its not 5 stars is the fit and finish does feel cheap with flexing on the handles and sharp bits on the machined metal.

good value for what's included
I like how much is included with this for the price, it's the complete package for a fraction of the cost, I'm considering buying the blue one just to set up for primer, I also like the metal cup, I've had several of the plastic ones and they don't hold up well, they break and it gets hard to put the lid on, however it could be I'm lazy at cleaning.

Works great.
Using for gelcoat application - and using the 2.5mm tip - excellent. Works well. To change the tip, the tool included works well however the 'as-shipped' tip was tightened to about 150 FtLbs, YES, FtLbs. I fitted the 2.5mm tip and torqued to about 15-18 FtLbs, much more reasonable.

Nearly perfect rookie results
Shot these cabinets with the 1.7 tip and Sherwin Williams Gallery and they turned out great . Some pointers. No need to thin the gallery paint, but it will have an orange peel appearance when shot, but then will lay flat. Before you fill the cup with paint, set your pressure on the gun at 25 to 30 psi with the trigger pulled and the air flowing. Do not use the included strainer at the bottom of the cup, as latex paint will not flow through it properly. Just use Harbor Freight 60-70 mesh conical strainers when filling the cup. I wish that I would've known these details before I started.

Do not buy this
It is literally impossible to remove the factory installed spray tip. I need to install a wider tip, otherwise this gun is an expensive paperweight. This totally unacceptable and I am now chasing another gun locally to do the job I need to finish asap. Pissed off and frustrated

1 Project Paint Gun
This gun arrived quick, was easy to put together and start using. I was able to lay primer and paint without runs, spitting, or any other issues. The draw backs; the gun does not pair with disposable cups, the seals dissolve after one primer and paint cycle, very difficult to adjust volume (spring too heavy). I’d buy again for one job, I’d pay more money for a better gun for multiple uses.

Simple and it did the job
Worked perfectly. I used this gun to shoot undercoating, easy setup. Did exactly what I needed it to do, didn’t even bother to clean it I just tossed it out

La llave no es como la que se muestra en la imagen
El producto llegó en buen estado, pero la llave no es como la que se muestra en la imagen.

reasonable deal for sure.
Yes you do get good bang for your buck. The lid for the pot seemed a bit crappy. I swapped it for an old Devilbiss pot/lid, and it paints perfectly.

Lots to clean but works fine
Just be aware that you should take this spray gun (I imagine they are all like that) completely apart to clean up the paint residue after use lest you should find it inoperable subsequently. I repaired and repainted the bumper rash that my wife did to her car and it worked fine.
