A Beginner's Guide to the Traditional Latin Mass

This book is both concise and covers everything, which is VERY hard to do. It's easy to read, and easy to follow along with. It doesn't contain distracting details and helps you appreciate the Latin mass. I can't wait to go to my first one!!

This is exactly what my family needed. If you are thinking about going to a Latin Mass for the first time, or like our family had gone a few times, this is the book to get. Looking at all the info online can be a little overwhelming and even confusing, this step by step book is the perfect entry point. I would love to see this made available at all Latin Mass parishes. Just the right amount of information to get you started, the illustrations are great and compliment text perfectly. Thank you for creating this.

Every action of the priest, from start to finish, is presented so the newbie can follow and understand. There is much beautiful symbolism in the Mass itself revealed in the trad Latin Mass that is not so obvious in the novus ordo version. That was quite a surprise to me. The illustrations were helpful, as are the full Latin & English of the most important and common prayers said at Mass.

This book is great for someone not familiar with the Latin Mass. The Tridentine Mass can be overwhelming at first. This book is a good first step. It just explains what's going on in a very very simple way with pictures. It's not dumbed down. It's just simplified. I got it for my son who has Down Syndrome so he could follow along. Small book, but delivers as promised. Walks you concisely through the TLM. Explains each part of mass quite clearly.

This book is a wonderful resource. My teenager prefers the Latin Mass, and this was a simple way for her to get even more out of it. It breaks down the Mass, including when to kneel and stand, and gives an even greater understanding. Ignore the bad review from the person that hasn’t read the book and dislikes the Latin Mass.

Easy to read with wonderful pictures. Descriptions of High Mass and Low Mass. Beautiful prayers too, both in Latin and English side by side. Overall great book for someone who wants to learn about the TLM.

This little book is an absolute gem. If you feel yourself being drawn to the TLM because of all the nonsense you're seeing in the Catholic church right now, this is definitely the book for you.

Very great book to learn the TLM mass. I have to say I was kind of lost and this book is nice and considered and with pictures . It’s not a misal but it explains very well all the parts of the mass and helps so much to understand. And to know when to sit and stand . Must get if your new to the TLM .

A great little guide for those new to Latin Mass. Easy to follow explaining what is happening and the pictures are really helpful. Also accessible for older children/teenagers new to Latin Mass.
