Introduction To Mentalism: 7 Mentalism Tricks to Manipulate the Mind

This isn't a book, it's a pamphlet. Also, for what you get, you should save your money. First, what is mentalism? Divinity, clairvoyance, rapid mental calculations, a memory to die for, predictions, etc. I would like to point out that outright lying to people and manipulating them are more geared towards being a conman. Which brings me to why I give this one star. 1.) For MENTALISM, I recommend: Quick and effective cold reading (Webster) 13 steps to mentalism (Cordina) Practical mental magic (Ademann) These texts will serve as GREAT jumping off points for mental "abilities". If you want to use coercion to manipulate others around you (Which is more along the lines as to what this text serves), then I recommend other reads, but this one is definitely a pass.

this book gave me a bit of insight into the mind of what a backstabbing manipulator would think and do... Not quite the "tricks" I had in mind... Seems I was manipulated into buying it...hmmm.

Being new to mentalism and persuasion-techniques in general, I found this book highly informative. It is written in a clear language, and though the formatting is a bit off at times, it has a great flow to it. Each chapter presents a new technique, describes its uses as well as how to utilize it. It also suggests ways of practicing each technique. All in all a highly recommendable ebook.

This is not a book about Mentalism. This is a "How-To" guide on manipulating people. Despite the lack of moral and ethical standards presented in this text, this book is poorly written and poorly researched. Be wary of a text the states: "Guaranteed" to work without any scientific or empirical evidence. The tactics provided are manipulative and needy. Any ones use of such juvenile maneuvers described in this book will likely result in their exclusion from their social or family networks. In a word: "Terrible". Do not buy.

I am sending this piece a crap back. The title is totally misleading. It is not about mentalism. It is a few paragraphs written for each of six way to lie, mislead and manipulate others. Just plain stupid. Except of course the author manipulated me into buying the book by providing a misleading title.

I found this book super interesting. It offers a lot of simple, yet awesome mentalism tricks. I have already tried out a few of them, and I am convinced that with practice, these persuasion-techniques are really effective!

You think it is a book....but it's not. It's a glorified pamphlet. Very disappointed. Not worth it to return it.

People can only act on what they know. The more they hear about or see a subject, it becomes a part of their reality. Repetition really helps and I am happy the author made this one of his key focus areas. If you use this trick more, you can achieve compliance faster. This book is well organized and well written and designed for who want to achieve that one critical thing. That's getting a YES t all requests.

This is a disgusting book..It isn't what it claims to be these aren't psychological tricks. For example How to make your parents feel guilty. The solution offered is tell them you suffered as a child by nor allowing you to get enough experiences and they will feel sympathy for you and you will get your own way. What nonsense all behaviour like that will do is damage any relationship you have and any parent would put you straight, not feel sorry for you. These are the types of "tricks" offered. This book should not be allowed to be sold at the least not marketed as mentalism tricks. What ever you do do not buy this book or if is other books are like this anything he has written. This book will be returned and a complaint submitted regarding false advertising. As I write this I am wondering if this is a prank or joke as it surely isn't a serious book and hasn't been written by a expert.

Awful horrid book would not buy I threw it away on the train,it is not a guide to mentalism like Patrick Jane but how to be a psycopath.Do not buy
