Excellent quality and comprehensive design.
Excellent piece of flight sim equipment. The item is made from an upmarket plastic material with a rubber like finish. The throttle sliders are smooth and a side mounted wheel allows you to adjust the friction to meet your preferences. Lots of switches, buttons and rotary dials. including a dedicated auto pilot panel. Other features include a large trim wheel and gear up / down lever with integrated led panel displaying gear down or up. The illuminate annunciation panel is another plus. The included levers allow you to set up for flying a single engine piston to a four engine jet. The biggest downside is the lack of integrated detents on the throttles but, 3d printed solutions can be found from third party vendors. In summary a well made and comprehensive throttle quadrant, highly recommended.

A Great Unit
Okay, lets get the elephant in the room out of the way, the price! Yes it is expensive, but worth every penny. However, the learning curve on how to set it up is very steep, not helped by MSFS 2020's and X-Plane11's control mapping interfaces. It does come with a default profile that is basic and gets you going, and you have to download a small piece of software from Honeycomb's website to get the LED's working correctly. . It is also a helpful jumping off point to assigning the buttons and customising it to your style of flying. Once set up, park your keyboard, you will not need it, especially if you have the yoke. The various buttons and switches all have a positive feel to them and the throttle levers are very smooth in operation and have a rear detent switch built in. The unit itself is very well made and feels like it could take bashing. It comprises of an autopilot, gear lever, flap switch, 7 assignable switches, annunciator panel, trim wheel and 6 throttle levers which can be assigned any of the throttle, prop, mixture. You get two types of throttle levers: twin piston and 4 engine Boeing style. Easy enough to figure out where to put them. Value for money, yes its almost £300, but that is a a lot of throttle unit for the price and better than some others "cough"saitek"cough." In my opinion, maybe a radio stack would have been better than an annunciator, but I'm nit picking. If someone asked me to recommend a throttle unit for them, this would be the one. I have the Saitek/Logitech throttle unit and that is not even in the same ball park as this on throttle levers alone. Value - 4/5. There are cheaper units, but this has the quality. Build Quality - 4.5/5. Its plastic not metal, but good quality plastics. Ease of Use - 3/5. Steep learning curve. Overall - 4/5.

Needs setting up
This is a well made and designed throttle quadrant. Its materials feel high quality and it looks the part. The one issue with it is that it works out of the box, in part, but there is a lot of setting up that is required to program the buttons and lights so they do what you want them to do. In X-plane 12 the quadrant will have to be programmed separately with a profile for each aeroplane that you will fly. This is not a straightforward task, since the programming is split between the excellent flight controls configurator built in to X-plane, and the Honeycomb configurator that specifically deals with profile editing. This HC configurator is complex and while there are any number of videos on tube that show you how to set about the configuration, it is a long learning curve and can be very frustrating. Having said that it will be worth the time and trouble taken to sort it out since when it is completed it will provide a superb experience. Just be prepared to put some time and effort in to get there!

Don’t stop on this one, search more
You can definitely find cheaper out there for better quality. I went for this one as it was supposed to be the best but Throttle not so accurate if u sim on a Cessna. I wouldn’t buy it again

May incur import charges to the UK
Good piece of kit. Very sturdy and we'll made. Versatile and changeable to suit most aircraft types from single engine, dual engine and quad. Dropped a star due to no information stating that it ships from Germany and there may be import charges to the UK. It was an unpleasant surprise when the courier arrived and stated there was an additional £58 to pay.

Versatility, functionality reliability and value. What’s not to like
I’ve had this a long time now. It’s been fantastic. Two issues (not even really issues) are that I had to Dan a bit of paint on the +|- knob to make it easier to seethe detention selection. And also to repair the worn paint on the lever button for TOGA. But that’s such minor things a shows how much fun I and my family have had using it. Is adaptable and has worked perfectly in MSFS 2020for 3 years. Combined with the Alpha. For the price, it’s a perfect budget home sim setup. Lovely packaging.

Great, but need a lot of space
Love it, but needs a lot of desk space. Took quite a bit to identify why all my light switches didnt work. It was down to also getting a new Yoke. It has light switches as well. One or other needs the switches to be reassigned to another simulator function. Particularly like the Auto pilot switch assembly. Mixed feeling on the trim wheel. It takes a lot of turning to make significant adjustments. Its as if it needs a 'gain' knob along side it. The levers all have electrical contacts on them that suggest further features were intended. The White levers have another lever attached but these seem to be for show only.

Altought it took a little time messing with the configs, after some YouTube videos, I got it working perfectly. It’s a high quality product, and a must have for people that want to simulate to the next level.

Not comptabile with Xplane 12 on Apple Silicon, or even previous Intel. The mapping of the Speedbreak and thruster 1 can't be changed and they are detected the wrong way around. Engine 4 is also engine 2 and vice versa. Only thruster 3 and the flaps map correctly when you calibrate. None of the autopilot or LEDs work. You can get a few to work if yiu run this on Apple Silicon using Rosetta. Honeycomb were never interested in Apple users, soI've returned mine for a refund. This might be ok with Windows using the proper MS flight sim. It looks impressive, but lack of function makes it pretty useless.

Fantastiskt fin yoke till min flight sim. Leverans och hantering perfekt. Inget att anmärka på.

Ogromne możliwości konfiguracji. W komplecie wymienne dźwignie do różnych typów samolotów. Kółko TRIM i dźwignie działają bardzo płynnie. Możliwość zmiany parametrów autopilota, np. HDG,ALT, VS itd. To wszystko daje dużo większą przyjemność z obsługi samolotu. W połączeniu z VR jest bajecznie ;)

Damn good throttle at a very fair price. I love how versatile this throttle block is. It's not just an "Airbus" or "Boeing" throttle, it's what you want it to be. Change the handles as needed to make it just perfect for each flight. The throttle block doesn't feel plasicy or badly made. The sensors are top notch and well synchronized. Throttle values are the same when the handles are in the same place. Not a given with some other offerings on the market. I love how they added multiple buttons and dials on the throttle to add even more utility to it, for example to dial in autopilot values and control each of it's functions. Installation is easy and for many default cases it works perfectly out of the box (based on my X-Plane 11 & 12 experience). Additional settings are possible with the native software by honey comb as well as settings in the simulator. Overall it's not too difficult to make custom profiles and you'll find it to be incredibly powerful as it can directly manipulate things like X-Plane datarefs. I highly recommend this throttle for anyone who wants to enjoy a more realistic throttle setup but not commit to any specific layout or be limited by the number of axies. Almost every plane imaginable can be covered quite easily making this the go to throttle block in my book. Highly recommended.
