After a dissatisfying complaint, the company assured me I may have gotten a bad item. In doing so, I was sent a replacement. So far so good. The splitter is made of brass which is a plus, except for the screw-on neck and on/off valve. It is a solid item but only time will tell. In making things right and standing by their product, I am changing my rating to a 5 star. Realistically I am not expecting this to last a lifetime, but a good 2 to 3 years use is more than fair for something that is constantly outside and fairing in the elements.

My original review: 1 star - Piece of garbage. It installed easily. I connected an expensive wifi timer to it, realized that I needed to change the batteries and when I unscrewed the timer the thread of the splitter came right out. Update 1: Upped it to 3 stars because of the customer service. I got contacted by customer service because they saw my review and they offered me a full refund or a replacement - I asked for a replacement. I'll re-visit this review once I can see how well the new one works! Update 2: Upped my review to 5 stars because of the customer service. I did receive a replacement, and it works without any issues. For the money, I think it's good quality. I have one end connected to a Wifi timer to water my lawn, and one end connected to a hose. Been going strong for about 2 weeks now without any issues.

Glad to have purchased this, so much nicer to have the double than only one

It was a good product for last Summer (2019). I disconnected it in the fall and brought it inside for storage. I just pulled it out and hooked it up. It's leaking (small spray) from a seam in the brass. I don't even understand how it split. It was working fine when I disconnected it last year. No way to repair it, so I'll look for a new one. *Update 5/29/20* IPOW customer support reached out to be and sent me a replacement. I updated the rating from 2 stars to 5 based on that customer support. Hopefully this one last longer than a year.

Warning for Australian customers/ BPT thread regions - this product has an NPT thread type (North America/ Canada) which is virtually useless in Australia as we use a BPT thread type i.e. this product will not seal. Went to an Australian hardware store and bought a similar product which works flawlessly. Seller should preferably immediately stop selling this product in BPT thread type regions like Australia, or put a very clear disclaimer in the description about it.
