What is the exact depth of the slot that accepts the bit?

The magnet is weak and the bit fell out while it was on my keychain.

Do common hex bits fit this? Is it magnetic to hold bits in place?

Regular hex bits fit, but the tool I have just uses friction to hold the bit - no magnet.

Material says its metal, what type of metal? Im looking for brass or non magnetic metal.

Hello: The metal body of the driver is zinc alloy... and itself not magnetic. The screwdriver does have a strong neodymium magnet that is inserted into the hex shaft. will this hold the wiha double sided bits? like 77781

I have a double-sided bit in mine, but it is not a wiha bit. I note that on the web it says "These Wiha double-ended bits only work in Wiha 77790, 77791, 77792, and 76000. They will not fit in non Wiha bit holders." I would also add that this is a great bit holder to have on your keychain for an unexpected need to unscrew something, but it is uncomfortable to use for anything serious. For more than occasional use, I would get a compact T-grip bit-holder.
