It is the best but you must be committed
If ur committed to a unique ‘stash, Death Grip iz what u need. PERIOD. Takes a bit of adjustment but that’s rather easy. I’m still makin adjustments but it depends on how I want to shape it. The thing iz I can do whatever I want. The hold iz brilliant & lasts, well how long iz a piece of string. At times When I go heavy I don’t wash it off just a rinse in the shower & next day I simply fidget with it & head out no need for more wax.Pricy, maybe but truly with Death Grip u git what u pay for.I’ve tried different warming methods & again depends on how u want to style; don’t git it too soft though cuz it’ll be sticky & tricky; u may be applying more than u want or need. For daily use I just put it in me pocket when I git up soz by the time ready to git me ‘stash all spiffy the wax iz good to go. Ifn I’m gitin in competition mode I may use a scented wax heater fistagram i put the wax CONTAINER in the place you’d put the wax. Gots a little lite bulb under the wax holder bowl that melts ur wax. Doesn’t take much time to melt say 5-7 mins parts r goin liquid 10 mins totally liquid; this iz extreme for those that have a lot of experience, hair & time. For removal of wax I use baby oil; not too messy not too pricey but werks rather well.So u have a product that iz so specific in what it’s for yet has such a spectrum in how it can b used. Ifn ur just starting or been twistin & curlin for donkeys years Death Grip iz for u.Since this iz me 1st order in a couple o years not sure ifn they’ve changed the colour from white pic with black artwork to black pic with white artwork or ifn they alternate. I love both but do prefer the white pic with black art. I carry 1 in me car when I’m drivin people round via an app on smart fones & git lots of comments & questions; I show ‘em the pic, recommend it & direct ‘em to this website. Some take photos so there out there some where in the eather. Sorry none from me.Started usin it bout 7 years ago but stopped during the oops from 2020 till 2022…..ITS GREAT TO ONCE AGAIN BE IN THE DEATH GRIP!

Good stuff but the name is a little misleading
The term "death grip" makes me imagine a wash out super glue which isn't how I would describe this. That being said, if you're expecting a product to whip an untrained mustache into shape on day one, mustaches may not be for you.Take a week or so to figure out how to use it before judging it. It works well to train but don't expect it to hold everything in place without the waxy look until you really know what you're doing. I heat it with my wife's blow drier until the top glosses over and rub in one or two fingertips worth. Keep reheating as I style until I can't see any more clumps. At the rate I'm using it I think the tin will last about 2-3 months. It settles a bit throughout the day but the hair is much easier to put back into place. I use a straw to drink so I don't have to reapply. I'd recommend supplementing this with something more workable for touch ups throughout the day if that becomes a problem. It's just not that easy to work with on the fly. It will definitely let you build nice points on a handlebar. The scent is mild and natural to me like a cross between beeswax and pine pitch. It can be difficult to get off of fingers and combs. I find that the beard balm I use (beard guyz) after the stash is done does a good job of neutralizing it on my hands. For the comb and countertop I just use rubbing alcohol.

It’s Death Grip-ish
The scent is cool, the hold is decent but it does not hold up long enough if you’re trying to do a handlebar. I’ve tried a beard wash to make sure my mustache and goatee were completely clean before putting this on and the only time I’ve had zero issues with the hold is when I’ve been outside in wintertime.Ive worn a handlebar and goatee for the past year and a half but gave up on Deathgrip in the past six months. I need some extra hold to keep both sides even, and regardless of how much wax I apply, it ends up melting and drooping. One trick that sort of helps is using sea salt spray in my mustache first, then combing it out to the sides. Then I will take the wax and apply it to the tips and as long as I go for the loose handlebar look (not twisted), it does a nice job. I have experimented with Clubman, and while that holds really well it can leave white flakes in my mustache (I’ll bee completely gray soon and won’t care then!). When I’m done with this tin I will probably try a stronger wax.Pro tip for anyone who has never used wax before!! Don’t listen to the reviews that say you just rub it between your fingers for a few seconds and then apply. I’ve pulled more hair out of my mustache than I wanted doing that. I’ve tried heating it with a hairdryer, but the best success I’ve had is with getting it on my fingertips and using a blow dryer then applying while I’m heating my mustache. Or hold the closed tin under your armpit for about 10 minutes. What you want is for the wax to be really smooth and easy to blend between your fingers. You should have very little friction when rubbing it between your fingers and into your mustache. If it’s not warm enough you’ll start pulling hairs out. You don’t want it runny, and you don’t want it hard. You’ll find that sweet spot!

2nd none with an offering for everyone
This is a completely honest review and I’ll say this about Death Grip it’s 2nd to none, I bought all 4 hold strengths and I’ll give you my opinion on all of them.Bare Bones: this has been the answer to my daily driver wax, I’ve tried multiple medium hold wax’s from various brands and this has been the best. I work in the road construction industry and I do not want to style my stache daily so this is excellent for keeping it out of my mouth and styled enough with a quick comb through and it’s good for the day.Sudden Death: I was using another brand that’s pretty reputable that has a similar hold but Sudden Death last longer and doesn’t let go through the day, I use this for a quick style of an English and Hungarian it’s a great strong hold.Bare Bones: this here is my go to for strong hold that last until it’s removed, I use this for going out and when I want my style to hold and you won’t find a better wax imho, it does take a bit of time and effort but the end results are worth it I use my hair dryer to warm the wax I scrape it out and apply it to my mustache, then using the hair dryer and Death Grip comb I spread it through my hairs then I style it has been my absolute go to for all day style and hold. The OG Death Grip: I will be honest this is my least favorite to use simply because of the time it takes to apply it and I’m not a huge fan of the tackiness BUT it still provides incredible all day hold and style, its hold is similar to Bone Crusher but the tackiness adds a flexibility that Bone Crusher doesn’t have I recommend it to those seeking an incredible hold and style but also likes the give just know it requires heat just like Bone Crusher to remove it from the tin and to apply. It took me a few years to get on board but now I’m part of the Death Grip family as long as I have my stache

Use a hair dryer for best results
Very sticky and thick, I use a hair dryer to soften, then scrape a half-a-pea size on the included pick. I use Night Fury mustache wax remover (same company) to remove the next time I shower. Very pleased with this mustache wax, it stays all day.

It's worth trying. It's great for some people.
I've been using Death Grip for a few months now but I have to admit that I am a little disappointed. It's not a horrible product but it's just not what I expected. I would keep in mind that this stuff works great for some people; everyone's hair is different. It's worth trying out if you're shopping around for a styling wax with some hold. I don't mind this but you should know that it needs to be heated up for application. It'll take a little work but that's okay.Cons: It takes a lot of the product to achieve a good hold. It's very tacky and shiny (especially in a hot climate). It does not hold wild hairs together well. If hold fails it's not easy to correct. It may not work well with other products. As the product cools after application and styling, you'll have to tend to clumps of wax.Pros: It can hold all day. I like the scent. Washes out okay (soap & water).I'm glad that I bought it, it can be stronger than other products that I've tried. My main complaint is that it takes so much of it to achieve a good style and hold. And because of that, it's tacky and there's a pretty good bit of wax that I have to work into the mustache so that it's not visible. If it's hot and humid where you live (like where I live) then your style may not hold well if you have strong hair.

Wow! My new favorite wax 💪😎👍
Wow. This stuff is great. I got the firmest one, but they have other options. I like that I have to. Heat it up with a hairdryer to get it to melt. I don't need very much for it to hold everything in place. It lasts all day, and sometimes multiple days. This is definitely my favorite mustache wax that I've tried yet. I will definitely try other products in their lineup. Maybe next time some softer waxes that I wouldn't need a hairdryer to melt but this product is fantastic. I plan on trying the mustache wax remover soon too but this stuff really does need a hair dryer to heat it up in order to spread it out. Once I got it in my mustache, I could use a hair dryer to soften it and then use the cold setting on the hair dryer to set it. It works fantastic.

This extreme mustache wax is great for unruly mustaches.
I love this product! I needed maximum hold for my new 'stache. I had tried everything from Aquaphor to medium hold then on to high hold mustache wax. This product's holding power is SO much better. This one REALLY HOLDS! Think... washable "Super Glue" type hold. The trick is to warm up the very stiff wax (which is not a problem with products exhibiting less holding ability). You need either a hot focused hair dryer or a butane candle lighter. Once the surface is soft then you can put the desired amount on your mustache for the amount of hold you desire.

The Ultimate!
I was running out of my previous wax (different brand), so I ordered this in readiness. My last wax only ran out last week and so I've only just opened and used this product for the first time this week; and..... Wow!! Suffice to say, I won't be returning to my prior brand. This stuff is nuclear grade wax. Ideal for finer hair. Not sure you'd get it through thicker beards / moustaches as it's so dense!First thing to know is that you have to heat the wax with a hair dryer to melt it so you can even get any out of the tin... so, not ideal for taking out with you for a top up. However, I doubt you'll need a top up: I first applied it on a Tuesday morning: my moustache and beard set in place and, I kid you not, didn't move until the Thursday! It hadn't even moved after a night's sleep for those two days.Be warned though: the wax comes out of the tin (once heated) with a texture similar to pine resin rather than a traditional wax. This makes it stiff to even get a comb through after initial application and a nightmare to get the residue off your fingers and comb afterwards. (On first time using it I ended up with residue stuck to the sink taps and soap dispenser as I desperately tried to get it off my hands!). The plus side is, once you've applied the wax it works amazingly well. The best wax I've tried. The only minus point is, the wax isn't scented so has a straight wax odour.

色々と海外の髭用ワックスを試しましたが、微妙な物が多いなかこのワックスは、少量でもホールド力が非常に強くて長持ちして使いやすいです。
