Bullet Tools - 909 I 9 9 inch MAGNUM Laminate Flooring Cutter for pergo, wood and more

I installed about 1200 square feet of 12mm laminate in an upstairs level. I’m extremely grateful I did not have to walk up and downstairs then outside for every single cut. While this may have helped my waistline, it would have been tough on my overall willingness to do the job. Ive worked hard for my beer belly, Id hate to lose it.I’m a DIY kind of fella who appreciates tools that work well for what they are. Does this tool create perfect cuts like a saw blade? Nope, it’s a shear. The ends of the cut are a bit jagged but these jagged ends will never be seen as they are under the baseboard trim. I found if you double cut each piece (sneak up to the cut line by about 1/2”) the cut was much cleaner. I’ve used a saw to cut “wet mopable laminate” and it destroys blades fast and creates horrendous dust even with a vac attached. This shear adds no particulates to your workspace air; Awesome sauce!The tool was easy to assemble and it is stout. I didn’t use the included laser system as it was easy enough to line up a pencil line. Maybe it would be useful for those dungeon basement jobs with no lighting.

Got mine in the mail had all the pieces nothing damage or missing. Got it all put together until I had to tighten down the 4 large screws in the back I don’t know if the holes were drilled out just a hair to big or just cheap aluminum but they all striped out without using any power tools or using both hands on the screw driver lol. And my first job I did with it they all pulled loose. I would’ve returned it but I already tossed the boxing so I just used some loctite and let it set up over night. And spending close to 600$ I was hoping I wouldn’t have to build it......

This is a must have. You can’t understand it until you use this. It’s the best money can buy right now. We have used it this one and the other lighter unit but this one just makes thins easier. Remember the cuts won’t be clean at the end but enyetas you won’t see it because you need to cover it with baseboard or base shoe so don’t sweat it. Really recomen this product if you are a installer will pay by itself in one month or less.

Using it to cut 12mm Pergo and it works well. Provides a very clean cut and has honing stone included to keep the blade sharp. Figured I’d spend a bit more and get themore heavy duty version and glad I did. Am about 650 sq ft of flooring in so far and no problems at all.

I've got several Bullet cutters, and this one was another great addition. Lighter and handier for most jobs. Can't cut a 45 on anything over 5" but that's what you get with this size, have a 13" for that. Have a similar Crain sheer that is absolute junk, so stick with Bullet. Great tool, well built, reliable

The mount for the laser line is cheesy, breaks easily. Mine arrived broken. Laser not necessary in my application. The tool is sturdy and cuts through flooring effortlessly.

Terrible at cutting mannington restoration laminate flooring. Edge is not clean but rough and angled. Laminate is heavily chipped.
