I didn't receive the globe which was being delivered by Hermes. I contacted the seller yesterday and was promised a replacement which arrived by Royal Mail today which is excellent service by the seller. Thank you very much. I have been informed that lots of parcels being delivered by Hermes have gone astray in our village this last week!!! The globe looks very good but hasn't been taken out of the box as is a Christmas present for my Grandson.

I purchased this globe as a birthday present for my 11 year old granddaughter (at her request) and she really loves it and uses it daily to look up countries that she reads about or hears about at school or on the radio or tv. The print is clear, as are the outlines of countries. The graduated light is useful as she can also use it as a night light. We are both delighted.

Really lovely size globe, nice and colourful. Really great for a child’s bedroom. Only down point is that the brightest setting on the lamp isn’t very bright. Bright enough to see what you’re doing in the dark but not enough to read a book

Value for money and that the fact it illuminates makes this more appealing than others I had looked at

Broke on first plug in.I bought this as a replace for a globe light I had inherited which worked for years.It was for my children’s bedroom. It came quickly and was packaged well.I put it on in my children’s room and was in there playing with them when I turned it on.After a few seconds I smelt something weird and then there was was a loud pop and it went off.I unplugged it straight away and requested a refunded which the seller did refunded immediately and I didn’t have to return the lamp.I don’t know if it was a one off but I’m glad I was in the room when this happened as I leave this lamp on for my children at night.
