Product Description We have sold 1000s of the Smart Air Beds Coil Beam Flocked Top Raised Air Bed over the last 5 years. It was time for a revamp so we've created the BD-1224GT. Like its predecessor, this bed is perfect for overnight guests, travel or camping. It features a soft, flocked top sleep surface that is 21" off the ground, so your guests are up and off the floor. A box spring and mattress is typically about 25", so this bed has great height, particularly for older sleepers who have troubles getting up and down. The product has been expertly engineered with a coil beam design that mimics the feel, support and stability of a regular mattress. The 23 gauge (.60 mm) super-thick, water proof flocked top and 14 gauge (.35 mm) sides and bottom give this air bed 600 lb. weight capacity. The whole bed has expertly electronically welded seams for long lasting quality. The included handheld powerful ETL listed A/C pump can have the mattress ready from box to bed in about 4 minutes. The bed uses queen sheets (not incl), and the fitted sheet is aided by the flocked topping and a well placed horizontal groove along all sides to limit sheet slippage. The patented Gigavalve can be used to adjust the firmness of the bed while laying on it (simply releasing spurts of air to make the bed softer). Review: Lasted 3 mo of continuous sleep. very comfortable, and a nice height - Lasted 3 mo of continuous sleep. very comfortable the seams around the circles on top were the first to go. If you want to use this as a perm bed, what I found is use this as a base bed and get yourself a thin 8 inch high queen bed to put on top. will make this bed last forever, and just have to buy a cheap 20 dollar bed every 5 mo or so. Review: Rocking the boat - Smart air is really stupid lmao. If you fill it normally it doesnt have enough air and you sink in. If u fill it to where you want it to be... The bed becomes a lopsided bubble.

I bought one aND it worked well for a week, then wouldn't hold air very long. I bought another one to replace it and the same thing happened. Get an intex from Walmart or here on amazon. Much bether quality.

Not bad. Looses a small amount of air overnight but pretty comfortable.

Are you sure this is an air bed?
Comfortable and did not lose its air over a period of 10 days. Could not believe it! Plus, the height is perfect for those who are older - no crawling off of it. It's the height of a regular bed. YEA!

NOT WORTH IT!!!
I have this mattress only a month and a half and already it is leaking. It took three days to find a pinhole in the seam - patched it and it still is leaking. Very disgusted. I have had many air mattresses and this is the WORST!

Works great
Edges are not as firm as I hoped, but no air mattress I've ever slept on had that quality. Still far more comfortable than any other. Big enough to comfortably sleep two.

Three Stars
Deflates very easily. Sealing cap broke off less than a week later. Low quality overall.

VERY disapointed. TWICE!!
Very disapointed. We bought our first one. Followed the instructions very carefully and inflated 3 times before using. It completely deflated on our first night. Bought a second one, thinking it was just a fluke and again, followed the instructions carefully. Once again, it completely deflated on the first night. Never again

Is an air mattress
Pros: - Nice and high off the ground - Inflates easily with included pump - Perfectly comfortable Cons: - Transmits motion and deforms a bit. - Slowly deflates, you'll have to run the pump every few days at least (read other reviews for varying accounts of this). - The indentations along the sides are at the wrong height for most fitted sheets, except maybe the extra-deep kind. If you want to sleep 2 on it, those 2 had better be comfortable pressed against each other in the depression in the middle of the bed. Nobody moves on an air mattress without everyone moving, so sleep quality is not so good for 2 people as for one. If I was buying this again, I'd get two smaller ones instead. Good for hosting pairs of guests that you don't want staying too long. That said, the product is exactly what it claims, a queen-sized air mattress, and it does that job just fine.
