If anyone has compared these confetti glasses to the Novica brand -- which quality is better? Thickness?

I have not compared brands but can say this brand is sturdy and has a substantial thickness compared to most glasses.

Why are the colored glass bits stretched and distorted around the rims of the glasses, spoiling the design?

I think it is for ease of drinking. All the bumps probably wouldn’t feel good on the lips. I don’t think it takes away from the beauty and fun of the glass at all.
